Noted tax cheat and financial head of the united states of america Tim Geithner has delayed releasing a report criticizing the Chinese Government for its practice of undervaluing their currency, the yuan.

The yuan should have followed free-market levels, according to Geithner, and appreciated at a rate consistent with the market. Since the Chinese Government has interfered with the value of the yuan against the marketplace the cost of Chinese-made goods is much lower than free-market competition can compete with, which would have the net effect of killing American jobs and hampering the restoration of our economy.

The united states of america has interfered with the health care industry, and prevented the Health Care providers from growing their businesses and using free-market economy to determine the best values for the buying public. By undervaluing the health care market by imposing restrictive and arbitrary limitations on the industry's back, and threatening a government-supplied option the health care industry can not compete with, which would have the net effect of killing American jobs and hampering the restoration of our economy.

This would be called delicious irony if it weren't so hideously real-world.

Let me look on this article thru reality-colored glasses and translate:

1) Public Option - Far from a certainty that there will be no public option, it's something that liberals are anxious to insert it, and it's VERY likely a major push will be done to do just that.

Right now, in the absence of a corporation-killing addition like that business will have to go up for the insurance companies, even as employees are looking around for whatever industry that ISN'T health care will hire them.

2) The Federal Budget - It's rather comforting to know that one of the many provisions for how the deficit can go down is in new taxes. Spending nearly a trillion dollars and keeping the budget deficit low by increasing everyone's taxes is a real interesting idea. In fact it's such a good idea it makes you wonder why president hussein's campaign wasn't run on "I will spend Trillions of Dollars and you will pay for it for me". It's kind of catchy and it's a change I believe is real.

3) Doctors will revolt - I'm really liking this one. Did you catch the tone of the article? If you DON'T go along with us you're screwed. You wasted your education and several thousands of dollars to get that education and you now have to decide to play ball or take a menial job.

Our government is so in love with our Doctors that they should not feel at all at risk of being thrown in gulags. No... really... in fact you can even keep working if you play ball with them.

4) Business will suffer - Another fun one to re-examine. The tone on this is positively gladiatorial. If you're strong enough you can fight in our arena and maybe survive. If not, along with those pesky Christians (and let's not forget hussein's pals the Jews...) you could find yourself thrown to the lions. All very bread and circuses... who wouldn't feel their patriotism swell with pride after that.

5) Socialized medicine - Individuals will have no say in their health care coverage as a rule. But they usually don't when it's employer-provided. So the employer will look at his skyrocketing costs for private insurance and start looking at the cheaper (and I mean CHEAP...) government-supplied coverage. This is a tired argument and not even worthy of being put in place here.

Let's face it. This is pure hatred for Americans. You get to be gladiators for hussein's pleasure. You have choice - fight for him or perish. Your doctor has a choice - do his bidding or run a fast-food joint.

America smells more like ancient Rome... doesn't it?

Today, March 22, 2010 is the birth date of the Fascist Regime in America.

Don't believe me?

1) The Health care bill is soooo popular that despite a final week of bribes, arm-twisting, threatening, cajoling, pleading and begging the bill only passed by like three votes.... Hardly a mandate that proves it could make it on merit.

2) 17,000 new IRS workers (read "Brownshirts") are being hired specifically to enforce the new mandate.

3) The new mandate is that it doesn't matter what you as a private citizen WANT to do, you are now required by Dictatorial mandate that you MUST buy insurance.

4) Oh yeah, since now that you HAVE to buy insurance it's better, right? No... who ever promised you better? In fact, it's more intrusive and less private. Y'see, president hussein never took a Hippocratic Oath* so that's not a problem for him. In fact, thanks to this sweeping "reform" you now have less choice.

5) Work in the Insurance industry? Pack your bags, because you're not going to be in business much longer. You see, the president feels that only he should be making a profit. He picks and chooses what americans he likes and he deems then worthwhile or not. You guys are the "Jews" in this case, and Der Fuhrer has pointed his decrepit finger at you.

6) Bottom line this for me, will ya, Doc? Sure. president hussein has said "You lowly people who are a drain on my government now must live the way I tell you to. If you don't you will be in violation of my laws.".

Government against the people, against the people and in contempt of the people.

I travel for work a lot, so sometimes I disappear from the interweb and just observe. Yesterday I was driving most of the day and around 5:30 PM I wound up in a Red Roof Inn in Grove City, Ohio and I was beat so I just laid down and turned on Glenn Beck. Yes, the guy so Right-Wing that Rush told him to throttle down a little, but in short doses I find him amusing and interesting. Longer than that and I usually end up looking for the cutlery to end my life.

Beck DOES play up the "Evil Forces Aligning" angle quite bit, and for that I have found that he can be very depressing to watch. By contrast, Rush doles out the bad news with a healthy dose of cynicism, and a laugh-track worthy dissertation on HOW the bad guys' plans can blow up on them.

So Glenn Beck can be considered to be... a bit more polarizing than Rush.

But let's ignore that for now and take a look at this "News" piece by Michael Sherer of Time Magazine, helpfully posted by Yahoo! News. Go on... read it.. in fact... I'll wait for you to get to the point where you find the Journalism...

Here's a hint. There ain't any.

Call GB a paranoid right wing nutcase all you want. Just try not to make yourself look like a paranoid left wing nut case in the process.

This is not about Beck, it's about the hatred from the Mainstream Media, president hussein's loyal civil servants, over Fox News and its daring to be critical of the petulant boy-president. This is just a paid-advert for how Fox News is part of the Republican Attack Machine. Of special note is their disdain for Beck's status of Victim. His derailing the Dem tactic of being the biggest Victim in the room is crossing a line, apparently, that they can not forgive.

I might be a bit kinder about this piece had it been labelled an opinion piece, but it's not. And its lack of journalistic prowess, vastly Left-wing slant and seething hatred make it a load of (to use a VERY obscure British phrase...) Whippet sh*t. Long, thin, and very obscene.

The current state of the country is this... president hussein is bullying everyone... his own party most of all, trying to get something... well... anything at all... accomplished. The Democrat party is busy buying party favors for their "Going Out of Business" office parties because they know that November will be the end of a great many careers. The liberal journalism scene is frankly in worse shape, with alternate methods of information gathering undercutting the main news sources nearly daily.

Is it any wonder that this is such a ham-fisted attack?

I urge anyone who can do so to find a Hulu, a Youtube, or any other method to stream or download Tuesday's Glenn Beck show. Not because it was great TV, but because this sphincter is lying through his bottom hole about the context of the events. Not the actual events themselves, but the reasons behind the actions.

Beck DID apologize to the audience for wasting our time. Massa tried to defend himself, but Beck corrected him and pointed out that Massa, who had flip-flopped badly on his decision to stand down from his Congress job, had just used Beck's pulpit to prove how utterly unreliable he was. Just the day before his story was very different. He back-pedaled and did so with roughly the same level of sincerity as the first day. When one does something like that you either ask them to show some proof about what they are saying so you can know for certain this time it's not a lie, or you can write the guy off as bat shit nutty man who had been leaned on (probably the second they heard he was gonna be on Beck's program!!!) to change his story and take the fall for the party.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out Rahm Emmanuel had something to do with THAT either. Because the butt was out of the bag on that portion of the story, and it was the one thing he kept intact. So even if Rahm had jabbed some portion of his naked appendage into the chest of this naked congressman in the shower (which clearly CAN'T be construed as sexually harassing an employee, by the way... for reasons that only president hussein could think are legitimate...) there was no need to retract that, even if Rahm had followed that up with a threat to visit him in his home shower if he did anything to not make himself look like a loser weanous baby-man on the highest rated news channel out there.

Let's bottom line this. Glenn Beck got scammed, and Rahm "whippet-dick" Emmanuel managed to apply his old adage, "Never let a good crisis go to waste" to exceptional effect.

Sandbox Politics (or It's My Football and I'm Going Home!)

As global warming feels the icy cold fingers of February on it's throat the nation's capital is beset by more than just snow and ice, but also the rather amusing efforts of stand-up comedian president hussein, who has become positively riotous in his sophomore year as he does Jerry Lewis-level pratfalls all over the place insisting that everyone play nice.

As with all great comedy, it's a matter of just how much truth there is in the joke, and in this case it's rife with reality. The Republicans, only a year ago getting sound advice on how they can stay relevant from the beneficent likes of the Associated Press have crafted a strategy that is reaping tremendous benefits in re-stabilizing the nation.

First they became the "Party of No". Sending a clear and loud signal that if there WERE going to be a Health-Care agenda rammed down an unwilling America's throat it was only going to have the DNA of Democrats on it.

Second they kept their yaps largely shut. Oh sure, the occasional "You Lie" creeps out from time to time, but the real howlers, the kind that rank hussein up there with his peers, Leno and O'Brien (but not, it seems, Jon Stewart.... who is still ahead of the game...), keep coming from the Dem big wigs. The Republicans have been making statements, but they are largely intelligent and prepared statements expressing their concerns.

Third they have found a comfortable way to start utilizing Sarah Palin. Via the Tea Party platform Mrs. Palin has found a rich and welcoming audience to counter the horrific attacks the elite left have thrown at her. In fact the most impressive charge levelled against her so far from the Tea Party event was her use of some buzzwords penned onto her palm... a far cry form having to have every word uttered be displayed on a teleprompter. By attacking her for this they are only reasserting her down-home folksy image with the rest of us.

And for his part, president hussein is happily playing the fool the way we really want him to... he's vigorously defending his Healthcare agenda even as his distaff troops are shuffling away from him in slow yet unmistakable moves. His insistence that not only Healthcare... which is bad enough... but only HIS healthcare.... be kept alive is a little like Jim Jones kicking back and pointing out he's parched, and asking for a tall cool one of Grape Kool Aid. A bit twistedly sick, with truly dark consequences, but surprisingly mind-numbingly funny in its way.

So now hussein is kicking and huffing and puffing that no one is nice and no one wants to play football under HIS rules, and he's just plain irritated about it.

That's life in the city, mr. president. Being handed a title and having hundred dollar a pound steak dinners doesn't get you respect. And insisting that others play by your rules when you can't be bothered to follow them is a bit disingenuous, don't you think?

I've never been a big fan of snow, although I used to play in it when I was a kid, and you learn to turn the frustrating parts of it into a game. Slogging through two-foot deep snow only becomes fun when you get to ride a sled down the hill afterward.

That's something you learn growing up. The hard times aren't worth a dime if they don't lead to better times. And all we are asking is for a president who envisions and works toward better times.

And since "That One" isn't filling the bill it's time to find one of our own.

Following the spanking Petulant US President flees to safer ground...

With the mainstream media tripping over themselves trying to paint a picture of president hussein as in control and unfazed by by the spanking the Conservatives have given the Democrats in Massachusetts this week, it's small wonder that the petulant US President has fled to the safer pastures of class warfare.

Of course president hussein could not have been bothered for several months on the issue of jobs and the economy. But now he wants to find some respite from the humiliation of the week's events and that means he has to rush to get approval from his adoring populace.

This means he has to demonize again.

So bloodthirsty for class-warfare is this idiot that he either oblivious or worse, fully cognizant that he is sending mixed signals to the private sector. If he is oblivious to his own actions' repercussions he is missing that he is chastising the banks for doing the one thing the rest of us only wish we could do... which is have a good business year. The banks are trying to get back to doing regular business. a natural thing for them to want to do... and they are starting to have some success.

If he is fully aware of what he is doing then his actions can only be deemed as an attempt to prevent the economy from correcting itself.

Either option is typically scary.

Let's face it... if president hussein were... I dunno... a loyal American then he would be holding up financial success as an example of how the economy is coming back. He would be supporting these people in their effort to make money, or best of all he could stand back, smile and say "That's one less thing on my plate to have to worry about".

But no... he's worried about them.

We aren't....

But then we want the economy to turn back around.

And it doesn't matter how much money he spends, how many dinner-dates with Michelle he flies to in other cities, or any other consideration... the only thing... the ONLY THING that will fix the economy.... is for a natural and organic urge to re-hire people on the part of the private sector.

If hussein truly believed the government was the solution for all then he would open up branches of the government which could be there for the sole purpose of hiring the populace and putting them to work.

Any mathematical take on THAT scenario shows the sheer folly of that idea....

So the private sector, not the public sector, is the key to revitalizing this country and by turns the rest of the world.

So naturally hussein wants to target anyone who actually makes money under his thumb... err... administration.

Embarrasing AP Story shows how confused Dems have become...

Of course Conservatives are feeling the glow just now with the long hoped for taking back of a nearly permanent Democratic Senate Seat. Senator Scott Brown has run a well-thought out and executed campaign and Martha Coakley did not.

So naturally I wanted to read this particular AP piece about how the Dems are "soul-searching" (AP speak for "placing blame") and frustrated over the loss of the Massachusetts seat. It's been a sh*tty year thanks to the efforts of the "on our knees for president hussein" gang. People who love this country have seen it eroded from within like never before. A willful assault on the livelihoods and the reputations of fully half the populace by the people who were supposed to represent us.

I deserved the opportunity to gloat just a little bit. Maybe Fox news was professional and cool, and according to Buffalo radio host Sandy Beach even CNN was reasonably cool about things, apparently the real fun to be had was on MSNBC where, per Mr. Beach, Chris Matthews was nearly incoherent, Keith Olbermann's head was likely to explode, and breeding-cow turned news anchor Rachel Maddow had a "...deer in the headlights" daze about her.

Damn, I wished I'd DVRd that...

Interestingly, however, this AP story is telling a weird rendition of the events.... the message that the Dems pulled out of all this is that they need to define their differences from Republicans even further? Huh? Really? While I still run into people who will tell me that all politicians are alike, more and more people are coming to the conclusion that most Republicans are not here to harm them. At least not on the National level, anyhow.

I'm really liking president hussein's assessment, wherein he states that voter frustration and anger over the last eight years swept Brown into office. It's a sign the man has cracked and he has no clue to whom he is talking... and any question placed to him can now solidly be deflected in his eyes with "I inherited this problem form George Bush".

What a f*cking whiner!!!! And yes, I'm referring to president hussein!

This "inheritance" defense is getting old, tiresome and is eroding his credibility. He he has yet to take personal responsibility for any situation that has come up. Oh, he's SAID he's responsible, but he has a history of throwing other people under trains that would make him a dream adversary in any superhero movie.... Think of the work Superman would have lined up for him trying to save private citizens from the evil villain hussein!

But wait... that won't happen... that would be actually creating a job... something he's not very practiced at.

Being a bit more serious, and getting back on track... hussein has made lip-service to how his administration might be at fault from time to time, but entirely without recrimination. Yet he has failed to get involved in high-level matters of serious state business, and in fact made boneheaded maneuvers while doing what little he did do.

Take the historically tragic earthquake in Haiti. This tiny little country has seen so much tragedy it seems that there can never be anything worse to happen to them... and yet it has. And rather than send the military in to pave the way, restore order, create landing fields, evacuate the wounded and set up rush triage units like he should have, he has assigned civilians with little if any knowledge of how to handle these events.

Remember the embarrassing notion hussein had to make Bill Clinton, the thorn in his side, special ambassador to Haiti? That move forced hussein to elect him and his other arch-nemesis, George Bush, to oversee the relief program. It is a sign of the class of the man that George joined in without hesitation, supporting Clinton and speaking positively, even rebuking Rush Limbaugh for his politicizing of the handling of the crisis.

Bush is not a traitor to the party for working with Clinton. I dislike Clinton's politics and I find him a relentlessly smarmy man, but I have said numerous times I never felt he hated America. He always perceived it as the land of opportunity. It's just that the opportunity he craved was illicit sex with the wrong women in the oval office. ... if you have to dream, dream big....

So to add gravitas to an attempt to shun his two biggest irritants, Bush and Bill are in there working hard to make hussein look good even though he doesn't deserve their respect. And more to the point, hussein is letting Bush be the point man in the relief effort in Haiti which should automatically tell you that he has not thought this through...

By giving Bush this opportunity to serve victims of a national tragedy and coordinate and make things work better he is negating all the cat-calls and bullsh*t of the "Katrina" incident. If Bush had really been the responsible party to Eff that operation up it would be the height of irresponsibility on hussein's part to put him in the Haiti effort on a high level position. And yet there goes George Bush, a better man than I.

And to say that Bill won't benefit from this... He's been given the golden opportunity to counter a few years of goofy mistakes and shine up his image... something he might consider worth doing assuming he wants to support Hillary's bid to retake the Whitehouse.

And what exactly WAS hussein up to when news of the earthquake hit? Why he was doing what he does best... strong-arming his Dems to beat the clock so he could have an awesome State of the Union announcement of Healthcare destruction being passed.

It's true.. he did not leave the closed-door meetings, he just occasionally conferred on the phone and put other people in charge. Apparently the imminent death of thousands and thousands of poor destitute people a few hundred miles away from the US shores was less important to him than the health care that no Haitians would be receiving.

Remember Bush staying with the children when the attack on the WTC happened? He made a decision to not upset the children which in fact may not have been the right call. But it was hardly a cowardly decision, and Bush took ownership of the situation and in fact rallied the American people just a few days later in a speech in NYC when someone yelled out that they could not hear him... he grabbed a bull horn and replied "That's okay. Because I can hear you. And soon the rest of the nation will hear you. And after that, the world will hear you!".

No writers on site.... that was George W. Bush. An improbably classy man. Even if we occasionally don't agree with him, he has earned our respect.

All of this however returns us to the goofy president hussein continuing to berate Bush and claiming Americans are angry from the last eight years....

If we're so angry, why are we longing for those glorious days?

By the way, and this is just an observation since Al Qaeda has been feeling their oats lately.... one of their stated goals has been to wage a war wherein they grind America down to the point where it can no longer afford to fight against them. Isn't it rather un-American then to go spending all the money we have when we are still in a state of war against an enemy emboldened by the pussy we elected president? Wouldn't that be giving aid and comfort to the enemy? Didn't that used to be illegal?

The Democrats have a hard year ahead of them. I hope they stay the course and keep striving to define the differences between them and Republicans, because it is exactly that divisive nature that has brought them to their nightmare scenario... the realization that they had total dominance of the country's three governing branches and they f*cked it all up. And now it's time to pay the piper....

By now I'm probably the last person to announce the election of Scott Brown as the first Republican Senator in Massachusetts in decades.

The historical element to this election is inescapable. First, it is clear signpost that everything every American did to shout down Democrat politicians who were trying to shove Universal Health Care down our throats, Every American who went to a Tea Party to show our anger at Government waste and failure to represent the people of this country, and Every American who blogged, wrote, spoke, and raised their fists in the air and shouted "We are the Party of NO" were NOT ineffective or pointless. It was proof that we did this as Americans fighting for our homeland.

Second, it is a matter of incredible irony that Senator Ted Kennedy, who embodied the most unholy aspects of this large government land-grab of power would ultimately be the cause of it's likely defeat. His seat going to a Republican (an independent?) upsets EVERYTHING that Obama wants to achieve... and it's all due to Ted's inability to hang on just a little longer....

It is a sweet victory at a time when we desperately needed a victory. Today is the one year anniversary of president hussein's inauguration, and it was his goal to have Health care as his toast to America that he could boast about... No matter what happens now, we have the momentum on our side, and we have a string of failures on hussein's watch that demonstrates the real greatness of the American People.

The fight is far from over, it is going to get harder before it gets better, but make no mistake, Conservatism is back on track and on the march, and we WILL take back the country and reward the Americans out in the streets who stood up and said "No" to the celebrity God Obama.

American pitted against American, the Private Sector put on trial, large corporations stolen away from the people who built them and given to the Unions, the spectre of targeted, punitive taxation, the wholesale waste of untold Billions and well into the multiple trillion mark of our money into the ether with the thinnest of oversight and control, the gall of leadership not only ignoring the will of the people but also in contempt of those same people, all of these things are the legacy of the hussein presidency... a great stain on a greater nation.... and I skipped about forty other issues just to keep this paragraph readable.

World famous movie director James Cameron, also a noted peacenik and anti-war apologist said Friday on CNN that he felt it was a shame that Americans could not put relief workers on the ground in Haiti as fast as we could deploy Special Forces troops when we plan to invade another country.

Clearly James, who has made millions working in the greatest country on the planet being allowed to showcase tremendous cutting edge technology and storytelling ability (I callz em as I seez em...) is so eager to create a Susan Sarandon Avatar for himself that he has found a way to make the horrendous suffering of an as yet uncounted number of thousands of the most poor and destitute people on the planet a mere apple-crate for him to stand on to espouse his crackpot philosophy. Very humanitarian of him.

Yes, the man is insanely talented. Still, (and I am not at all politically motivated in saying this) I have zero interest in seeing Avatar. Again.. not for his loopy anti-American hysteria, but because there is a fatal flaw in the movie. A BIG WHOPPING fatal flaw in the movie....

Lessee here... gung ho camouflage-wearing military types in bulky weapons of destruction wander across an idyllic jungle planet rich with natural resources and go to war with the natives... freakishly over-sized smurfs in loincloths who then use Ewok-tactics to try to save their world from destruction. Who's gonna win? Anybody out there wanna tell me? No really... there's no way to forecast THAT one....

Yes, I know there's a little more to it than that... but in a nutshell that's the plot. Big, colorful, and stupid... but not as much fun as GI Joe... because GI Joe knew it was stupid and didn't care... James thinks he has created high art that should rank him up there with Robert Maplethorpe. Yes.. the film is raking in more bucks than "An Inconvenient Truth" but money does not sway from the crackpot philosophy and the idea that I've already seen this picture in the mercifully much shorter George Lucas version.

And this is the point... All of this is completely irrelevant to the Haitian disaster. Cameron is actually using a moment of intense personal tragedy for all of us to get more bang for his theatrical buck. Bet the Haitians are grateful for that. Perhaps he can donate a few truckload of spare Academy Award screener DVDs to the beleaguered nation to help them heal their wounds.

I had considered that someday I might have watched Avatar on .. I dunno.. TBS... but now I think it would just make me sick to do that. But for those of you who want to see the movie in all it's glory, here's an animatic from the film....

It's the top of the calendar, January 3rd, and I flew out of Buffalo this morning in a blinding snowstorm in what can charitably be called bone-cold arctic wind. I ended up three hours later in Florida, which is suffering a particularly cold 45 - 50 degree snap... about 20 degrees lower than normal for this time of year.

CNN reported today that Beijing is facing such bitter and heavy snowfall that they may shut down due to it, even while millions are still returning from holiday travels. They say it's he worst winter weather they've faced in 40 years. Two years ago my boss, a Chinese man, sent images of cars covered in six inches of ice and pointed out that this is far from normal weather... as a way of explaining that some of our custom overseas shipments were likely to see delays.

The December summit in Copenhagen to formalize a world-wide treaty against Global Warming was itself uncharacteristically walloped with a heavy snowstorm unlike that seen in years.

Even as the United State's most esteemed Liberal Democrats pressed forward their doomsday agenda of Socialized taxation... ummm... 'scuze me... I meant to say Socialized Healthcare, Washington DC got... you guessed it... snowed under.

Gotta love God... he's got a great sense of humor.

Time, it seems, is full of misconception where people are concerned. Firstly, 1/1/10 is the start of a new decade. Anyone who thinks otherwise I'll be more than happy to welcome to the next decade when they get there a year later... But more than just being snarky about it, I can prove it.

Back around Christmas 1999 I was enjoying a Christmas Eve party with some family friends and was conversing with a nice young couple. I wished them well in the new Century and the husband chided me, telling me there was no year zero. He's a nice guy, well-educated and a creditable agent, like his father, with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. I gave him the opportunity to present his case.

I then asked him when he and his wife would have their first child. They smiled and reminded me about their seven-month old boy. I replied, "He's not one yet, so he doesn't exist.

That tattered relationship survived this particular conversation, but the point remains the same. We, as a people, have forgotten how to count. We forgot that fractions are elements of a greater whole. For a year to exist it must surely have started, but since it has not COMPLETED the full cycle it is NOT a year old at birth. Therefore, a seven-month old baby surely exists (unless of course you're baby-killing Liberal with a vacuum cleaner and an Obama bumper sticker....) and is well on his or her way to celebrating their FIRST birthday... or in other words a celebration of having lived one full year.

So when 1999 ended, the 20th century ended, because the 21st century had just been born and was well on its way toward it's first birthday (not a banner year, I'll grant you... but still important none-the-less...). I know it's splitting hairs and it's not really a major issue, however I dislike having to explain the very most basic elements of Temporal mechanics to lay-people. It's demoralizing to think we can't count properly.

But it's important to remember that we must maintain this information. If for no other reason than this...

"The Only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

The economy is in the tank, joblessness is officially 10.2 percent but more likely in the range of 18% thanks to "creative accounting" from our transparent government.

So the natural response to deal with this problem is for president hussein to drag major business leaders, academics (?!!!!!???!!!!!!!!!) and others to a job summit that doesn't even have as it's goal the core concept of job creation.

Now let's assess the situation:

1) Healthcare absorption: No time to delay. This is absolutely CRITICAL that it happen now.

2) Afghanistan: Sure... let's take a few months and then throw some troops in, but also we get to tell our enemies when we will be letting them alone to go ahead and do their thing (if only the Dems would do this with the Business world we'd rejoice...).

3) Cash for Clunkers: The U.S. Government bravely bought a bunch of cars and trashed them. Hell, paying the Crips to steal all those cars would have been more of a stimulus because then they could at least strip them down and sell them for parts. But NO, our beloved president hussein insisted that the vehicles just be trashed outright.

4) TARP: The U.S. Gov't. bravely bought a bunch of toxic property assets... or did they? No one really knows. The program is overseen by a Czar, isn't it? Last I heard Czars don't report to anyone but hussein. And now that money is going to get used for other programs, as per Nancy "Dragon Mama" Pelosi.

5) The Economy: Well shucks... they actually SAID they need to solve the Healthcare problem so hussein can start to concentrate on the economy. In other words, the economy doesn't impact upon HIS lifestyle, so why the hell would he care about us? No... the economy is not one of those things that the people don't want, so it's not being rammed down our throats with gleeful abandon.

So the Democrats were given a crap load of money to spend randomly without any long-term benefits, so THEY'VE had their Christmas already...

Meanwhile we are left to sit there and figure out not just "Can I buy my kids a toy for Christmas" but "Can I meet my mortgage payment for Christmas".

Are you better off now than you were two years ago?

In another tragically hysterical and desperate bid for trying to show that they are in control, the liberals have tossed yet another CNN "Senior Political Analyst" out to see what she could do to make Republicans feel bad about themselves. This appeared online Wednesday October 7th in the evening and it's one of the best drop-dead funny pieces I've read in ages.....

What exactly does it take to become a "Senior Political Analyst" for CNN anyway? What is the criteria? Knee pads for orally pleasuring president hussein? And I'm not being sexist here... Ed Rollins is no better on this point. The slavish devotion to defending the potentially bruised ego of the country's biggest nightmare president since Jimmy Carter is surely a prime qualifier for the post. That and a near complete lack of historical perspective.

Borger has come to the conclusion in only a scant nine and a half months that Republicans aren't exactly eager to sign onto hussein's crazy political death ride for the US of A. The fact that she sees the razor's edge we are sliding down as something wondrous and so spectacular that she insists her beloved Fuhrer MAKE the Republicans agree with him on something is not exactly Germaine to the issue at hand... but it DOES help to color her naivety somewhat.

But enough hyperbole....

With astounding grace and acumen she sums up the Conservative's primary take on what SHOULD be done... cut taxes, put more money back in the pockets of the people, and have more jobs by eliminating the deficit. Then she goes and spoils it all by pointing out this is all untested fantasy material... a sort of socio-political Playboy Centerfold of Utopian and unreachable dreams... except that they are NOT.... or more technically, they WERE NOT.... until her beloved leader president hussein went and spent more money than Caligula on a particularly hedonistic and self-destructive bent...

She then makes the somewhat amusing point that Republicans are a bunch of name-callers.... tossing aside such hideous accolades as "socialist", environmentalist, and "dithering commander-in-chief". But she doesn't help her cause any by in the same breadth providing the very real and intractable justifications for these.

And then she has the balls to make the charge that Republicans are actually rebounding in popularity due to the persistent saber-rattling... as if this were a conccept never even considered by her beloved Reichmeister, president hussein. Hell, the Democrats practically invented "Lie, rinse, repeat.... lie, rinse, repeat..." as a way to get their points pounded into the world.

The only part of that we didn't pick up on was the lying.

And horrors, it's turning out to be a good thing for the Republicans! What shocking news! Especially when you consider that a few short months ago the Democrats and the yellow journalists were patronizingly "helping the Republicans" by telling us we should get rid of that loudmouth Rush Limbaugh. Yes... they really were concerned that we needed their help then.

Now, I think they are really concerned... but more because we DON'T need their help.

The GOP has adopted one of it's best tactics in years... one which is unassailably working and is frightening the hell out of the Dems... we have picked up on hussein's nom deplume for us as "The Party of No" and we have refused to play along with destructive, burdensome and unnecessary socialist programs which threaten the very fabric of our nation.

That means the Dems will have no legitimate.. or even potentially salient illegitimate means to blame Republicans for the failures that are inevitable in all of this. That makes the whole thing a Dem party.

And now that it's a Dem party, it's clear they are sweating buckets because even THEY know it won't work.

Health care... the wet dream of every socialist liberal in the Western world, will bankrupt the economy and as a typical government-run fiasco will rapidly go broke, taking down with it many other programs and side-businesses.

Or did we not learn lessons from:

Social Security
Medicare
Cash-For-Clunkers

To name but a few disasters.

So what does "Senior Political Analyst" Gloria Borger suggest to fix all of this?

FORCE the GOP to go along with the Dems.

And how exactly do you do that?

Start acting like Republicans.

Well.... where to begin... why did I drop off the face of the earth? A couple of reasons. This blogging is very draining work and sometimes VERY lonely. It doesn't exactly make me popular with my wife, who shares the core concerns, but believes I am too radical on the issues.

I love my wife dearly, and I needed to stop for a little while and just be her husband. And what a good time to choose to do so, as life has been VERY hectic the past two months. This past week alone my son got badly hurt in chorus class (a knee injury in chorus? WTF?????) our one-eyed cat started bleeding from the eye socket just as we finished medicating one of the others for a severe snot0production issue.... and my wife came home from work at lunchtime the other day to find emergency vehicles all around our house because of the man with the broken leg who had fallen off the scaffolding of our neighbor's chimney repair work... onto our driveway..... and then just because we had not had enough grief.... I pulled a muscle fairly severely while going to a tradeshow in Vegas. It was so bad the good folk at the Sands Expo had to take me to my booth in a wheelchair. I'm still hobbling pretty nastily as I write this in the T terminal of JFK Airport as part of my "Very long night" of trying to get home to Buffalo.

So you can see, I didn't stop caring, I re-charged.

And WOW!!!!! That's what I have to say.

America has seriously begun to step up to the plate and demonstrate what it is that makes us Americans. I am sooo impressively proud to know so many people out there care the way they do. Town Hall meetings designed to send the one message that thick-headed Dems and name-only Repubs could understand... namely that we're pissed and our numbers are growing, and the BS had better stop soon.

And then there's the Two million man march on DC last weekend.... man, I'm sorry I was not a part of that, although I had my hands pretty full at the time....

And the emergence of Glenn Beck as a loud and exceptionally vocal voice calling for action.... he MAY be a bit radicalized, but to be honest that's the kind of energy that we need right now.

This mobilization, as Rush pointed out (himself quoting other sources on the issue....) without a central charismatic figure is te PERFECT antithesis to president hussein. It is a statement of the power of the Conservative movement, and the incredible central truth of our movement that we DON'T need idols to lead us.... we make up our own minds.

Then there's former President Jimmy Carter, beloved by millions of foreigners for his unwavering conviction to suck energy and life from the United States... a man whose resume is pock-marked with the greatest failings of any presidency in the past fifty years (including LBJ...) who got trotted out to add fire to the liberal mantra that to oppose hussein is to be a racist.

You might as well ask for Hugo Chavez to side with you.... there's the same amount of love for country in that corner of the globe as you'll get from the peanut guy.

But what really blows my top with joy is the recent release of the Acorn undercover videos.

We are witness to the birth of the New Republicans... the people who make tsunamis in the Democrat ranks with just a few simple actions.... who refuse to be broken by the Grotesque Government that is president hussein's regime.

North Carolina Senator Joe Wilson (R) became a hero to the people with of all things only two words. Two words uttered at the right place, at the right time, and expressing the frustrtations and angers of millions of Americans.

Three words if you ask NY Times columnist Maureen Dowd, who in her own racist mind heard the word "Boy" included in the attack on hussein.

I feel so much less alone. I feel like a voice is emerging out of the chaos and it is not one person... it is a group mind... the True Republicans, the ones who refuse to be dictated to and refuse to pander to the special interests of the president. It's a voice you and I can and should join in on.

I am struck at the number of times people have had to apologize to hussein for minor infractions of courtesy. Bush never received these platitudes form people, nor did Reagan. Clinton was such a happy-go-lucky guy he was actually hard to offend.

But Obama is a VERY sensitive guy. He demands attention, and he demands leniency, and he demands that you accept not receiving leniency from him. He is growing ever more pissed off and he is in real danger of doing something big and rebellious to try to show us who the boss is.

I say we let him. It was a mistake to criticize the address to the students of America in advance, becuase then he had time to water it down to something innocuous, just to show he wasn't really gonna indoctrinate anybody. We should have let him do that EXACTLY as he planned.

We should let president hussein play by his own rules, and show him to the people for what he is. A man with deep-seated hatred for the US. A man who despises us.

On my red-eye flight from Vegas last night I was watching Greta Van Susteran on Fox News. She played a clip of hussein speaking about honoring a fallen soldier with the Congressional Medal of Honor. No doubt the man was very deserving of the award... our servicemen and women have been in combat for several years in an urelenting battle against evil, and they continue to this day to make us proud... but the telling of the president was in his choice of words.

He read off words such as honor and sacrifice and then proceeded to point out how Americans forget what those words mean, and how we use those weighty words carelessly. He then goes on to say how this particular soldier undertsood those words and demonstrated them with the ultimate sacrifice.

Was it really necessary to trash Americans as idiots who have no understaqnding of what our soldiers do in order to praise this man? For president hussein it was essential. It is his view of Americans that we do NOT know anything. That we do not have his level of intelligence, and we CAN be easily insulted so long as he wraps the words in praise for another.

Honestly, at this point he is no longer capable of insulting Americans. It is expected that he will seek the low road, and denigrate anything right and fair.

And now president hussein is learning the lesson the Japanese learned at the start of World War II.... he has awakened a sleeping Giant.

The New York Times, ripe with the summer doldrums because the only thing left to report about in the country is the excesses and abuses of president hussein, have decided to go back to the well and start a good old fashioned feeding frenzy again.

In this piece found linked to Yahoo!.com the author points out that Andrew J. Hall is getting a $100 million dollar bonus. Now they could have been crass and written it out like so: $100,000,000.00 but for some strange reason they showed restraint.

The cons: He is getting this bonus from Citigroup whom he sub-contracts for, and they took $45 Billion in our money to stay afloat.

The pros: He was contractually liable for a fee relative to what he made for Citigroup, apparently a common practice, and he made Citigroup a meager $2,000,000,000.00 in profit. That's $2 Billion for those of you in the know. So his bonus is 1/20th or rather 5% of the total he made for Citigroup.

Now he's under pressure to not take the money, amid speculation that some of his dealings may (note: they do not say he DID...) have contributed to the financial troubles are country has seen. The article takes pains to say that while he's a nice guy for his sort he's also an example of "capitalism at its most unbridled" all the while acknowledging that it was his own efforts that helped contribute to the financial strength of Citigroup.

Apparently now Mr. Hall is seeking to separate himself from Citigroup, and hopefully he will take his talents to some other country and make some other business in some other part of the world significantly wealthier....

That'll show him!

Christ almighty, there are some really retarded people in positions of power in the US Government right now.

Among other things, if the terms of the contract Mr. Hall had with Citigroup were to be altered, Citigroup and the US Government had an obligation to tell him so BEFORE he made them all that money (Isn't Hall a taxpayer? What about Citigroup, don't they pay taxes?).

And then on top of that, if employees are agoing to get sacked for making their companies profitable, isn't that just plain un-American?

Post-Racial Politics?

In a startlingly frightening AP article about the pending confirmation of Sonya Sotomayer to the Supreme Court the author Julie Hirschfield-Davis inserted the phrase "Post-Racial Politics" in an effort to paint president hussein as not a part of the hideous back-stabbing going on in DC.

The article is ostensibly a reporting piece on Senator Harry "Mr. Fair Play" Reid threatening Republicans with a backlash against them for acting like impressively polite Democrats by opposing Sotomayer. This is a little like a teacher yelling at her students for not parsing Pi to the last digit fast enough.

The reality of the piece however is far more sinister and telling... It reeks of racial politics so heightened that logical discourse is a hindrance to the flow and ebb of Government legislation.

The AP helpfully points out that while the GOP might be accused of assaulting a Hispanic and therefore be guilty of racial discrimination (gee.... all I ever heard were concerns about her qualifications and her mindset where legislative law is concerned... kind of the point of the Judicial Nomination hearings...) the Dems also risk a backlash if they appear to be pushing her for her race rather than her credentials.

Umm...

The Dems already blocked a Hispanic candidate of Bush's for the sole purpose of having the bragging rights to being the first to have a Hispanic judge on the Supreme Court. Forget the politics, it's all about who gets there first.

The disgust level of this is even further ratcheted up by the author's mention, as cited above, of the current "post-racial politics" position.

First off, who decided electing a mulatto made things post-racial? Second, who are the ones most concerned with race lately anyhow? The Dems cry racism if they don't get enough sprinkles on their mid-afternoon cupcakes, and prominent Black and Mulatto Americans have a hard time trying to justify perceived racial profiling in a case so CLEARLY elevated and created by a racially bigoted Black Man that even a Black Panther might be able to figure it out... (okay... that might be a bit of a stretch... but you get the idea...).

There is NOTHING post-racial in the country right now. The Black Community won't let the whole "mulatto president" thing go and the press is acting like eager little puppies trying desperately to please their masters to ensure that we know how enlightened we are and how lucky we are that color is not an issue, even as it is being screamed in our faces.

And all of this, my friends, is a smoke screen to distract us from the very real issue of socialized medicine.

We cried too, General Powell....

General Colin Powell was just interviewed again on a whole host of subjects by CNN.com and once again reveals that he is more of the flawed figure he first revealed himself to be last summer.

At first he talks about Professor Gates and he tries hard to paint a picture of Gates being the responsible party, but of course can't resist saying that the cops over-reacted. It's couched in more subtle language than president hussein used, but it's still there.

And then to add depth to the comment, the General goes on to say how he was once racially profiled at Reagan International Airport because no one believed he was the National Security Adviser to the president.

He claims it was because no one believed a black man could have been the NSA, but offers no proof.

So for a second time in recent weeks prominent black men have gotten out the word that failure to be recognized for their fame equals racism.

Racial profiling is not a funny thing. It can lead to all manner of terrible events. But the terrible crime of not being recognized for your fame is NOT racial profiling, it's more a matter of people being busy with their jobs and not paying too much attention to the news.

Which is also not a crime.

In just a few short weeks I will be going to a travelling seminar hosted by many prominent figures, among them Rudy Giuliani and General Powell. I'll resist the temptation to bring a bag of rotted tomatoes for Mr. Powell, but I no longer feel I have anything to gain from him.

He out and out admits in this interview that the reason... the ONLY reason... he wanted hussein to win the election was due to his skin color. Or to put it another way, because he racially profiled him.

He was so profoundly moved that a black man could get elected to the office of president he cried.

We on the other hand who love this country above all other considerations including skin color cried as well, but for completely different reasons.

What is so galling about Powell's remarks is that there was a time when I admired his work, his calmness and his ethics. I WANTED Colin Powell to run for president. I would have voted for him. He conveyed all the things that makes a man a man.

And I know when everything changed. The moment is palpable, and for a man of his stature was almost certainly a life-altering event. The day he stood at the podium of the United Nations and tried to gain international approval for the war in Iraq, and the entirety of the room laughed at him.

If you trace it, things were never the same after that. He became more quiet and subdued in the media, his politics were at odds with Bush's. Many post-Bush administration reports showed that he had become something of the outside influence to the inner circle due to his growing frustration over that moment.

And now he has lost the luster of what a lifetime of service to your country can bring to a man, and he has chosen petty racism over the safety of the country he so loved.

What the hell were they thinking responding to a call of a man (black OR white...) breaking into the house of a Harvard Professor who was known to have been out of town?

And even worse, how egregious they must have been for not being particularly happy to find a belligerent man screaming racism while refusing to identify himself inside that house.

And then to top it all off they had the gall to have him arrested for disturbing the peace when he made a big deal about how he was a black man in America and upsetting the neighborhood.

And typical of life under the hussein regime, who does our commander-in-chief side with? The jackass goes off and calls the police stupid!

In every telling of the events by the media there is zero description of inappropriate behavior. However what DOES emerge is a picture of a black man with a chip on his shoulder the size of... well... Belgium... who is SUPPOSED to be a well-educated man, but can't have the presence of mind to cooperate with the police when they are trying to secure HIS property.

*** UPDATE*** As reported HERE president hussein once again speaks about how he could have said things differently, but refused to apologize for his words, instead trying to gloss over the whole thing by retardedly commending BOTH parties in the incident for being so upstanding about their behavior.

Apparently... and this is a leader of the free world, the highest elected official in the world, and the man to whom we are supposed to be attributing our noblest aspects from speaking ... in other words, the man who embodies what america is supposed to be all about.

And he believes refusing to cooperate with the police when simple obeyance of the law could have prevented ANY escalation of the incident characterizes Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. as one of "...two good people in a circumstance in which neither of them were able to resolve the incident in the way in which it should have been resolved.". You have to remember, this is the man who threw his grandmother under the bus when she became politically undesirable a year earlier. Now don't get me wrong, I am in complete agreement with the idea that racism is a real issue in America, and while I have no concern for hussein's skin color (my vitriol is for something far more important, his hatred of Americans...) he is at the epicenter of a fundamental shift in racial tensions of which this idiot Harvard Prof. is only a symptom.

As I have mentioned, I recently sat on Grand Jury and the larger percentage of cases I heard involved people of color. This is not to say that people of color are the only troublemakers, but the one thing that I walked away with was that the willingness to commit crimes specifically directed against other people was demonstrated with far greater alacrity from people of color, and that crimes that were more individual in nature (i.e, DWIs, and so forth...) tended to be toward Caucasians.

hussein made the specific point in his jackass statement that traditionally a great disparage exists in the number of arrests of blacks compared to whites. In my tiny little month-long window into my local community I heard stories of home invasions, gang activities, savage stabbings and beatings that have left people permanently disabled, shaken to the core, and fearful. The perpetrators were almost always black.

My point is that perhaps the stereotype of the black as criminal might be better served if, as Bill Cosby suggests, black people stop crying racism and start building up their lives and striving for better. The ONLY way to stop this cycle is for people to take individual responsibility for their actions and start to encourage the English language as a native tongue, as opposed to ghetto-speak, and for learning to be encouraged over the quick and easy thrill of scoring a crack-deal.

Unfortunately, in this hussein-led country, big government is who is supposed to solve everything, so we are being told to just lay therein our own filth and reach our hands up to the great big teat of government until it tires of our cries and feeds us.

Sorry, that's not America.

I caught this interesting news article about a middle eastern dust storm so immense it was photographed from space. Y'know, a compelling human interest story about something that is uncommon here in the states, but very common in the mideast.

But you have to go to the mid-way point of the story to get to the meat of the subject....

Yup, it turns out that global warming in the form of ocean temperatures rising, is being caused by (get this...) a lessening of dust storms and a lessening of volcanic eruptions.

I couldn't make this crap up if I tried.

So what AP is dutifully reporting is that we can save our planet by triggering more volcanoes and by flooding the atmosphere with tons of bacteria-filled (their thing, not mine...) dust and sand from the deserts.

Now my science may be lacking here, but I was under the impression volcanic eruptions introduce tons and tons of carbon into the atmosphere which was... I've been told... the problem.

Maybe it's because man has nothing to do with them that it's all okay, but you know, it gets very frustrating trying to understand these things.

So if we were to drive a Dodge Volcano to work, even though it was terrible for the ecology, we could go ahead and claim how we were helping the oceans stay cool.

In this ABC News interview between George Stephanopolis and the highest-ranking known bona fide US-born political official Joe Biden opens up on his feelings about the resignation of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Now let me be clear about this, I LIKE Joe Biden. I like that he's hopeless non-sensical and mind-bogglingly stupid. He's fun that way. Does that make me seem biased?

I kind of thought so.

But listen to this guy and tell me what you think. In one portion of the interview, he talks about how the hussein administration misread the economy, how 9.5% unemployment is completely and totally bad, how the administration is still complaining that they inherited this mess, and how the stimulus package is working just swell and the administration is doing a wonderful job managing the economy.

umm.....

And then at the end of the piece he goes on to discuss Sarah Palin, and George asks him point-blank, does Joe believe that Sarah was the target of a smear campaign? Naturally Joe says no, that's not the case. But then he goes on to say that he respects her and he has to take her at her word that there is a portion of personal element to her decision to step down.

huh?

Does he take her at her word or does he think she's a loon?

This is what I love about the man. He can be truly counted on to Dan-Quayle the place up and confuse things something fierce. His words string together in what might "sound" rational, but they link up in ways which make no meaningful sense.

It's apparently $250,000.00 according to this wondrously loopy Politico/Yahoo! News piece that greeted early risers on the morning of July 3rd.

Historically speaking, the press has always been about maintaining their Independence and about being the watchdogs against big government. Their role in world events in fact has been crucial over the past century in keeping the order and in protecting life and liberty.

Of course, that was back in the days when they cared about those things. In World War II, for instance, many times the media would cooperate with requests from the government to plant inaccurate information in the newspapers and yet nobody decries those actions because the goal was not to do social-reconstructive surgery and change the nature of this country, it was to use the fact that foreign agents were paying close attention to the domestic media and to mis-inform the bad guys.

Under president hussein it can reasonably argued that any misinformation he would ask the media to run with against foreign powers would come with warning labels an apology for just about everything America has done to date, a for-ward looking apology to those crimes we have not yet committed, and offers of financial restitution to all enemy combatants who we have physically disabled, in the form of 10% vouchers toward hybrid vehicles that will be designed to explode in a far more effective blast pattern than the current gas-guzzling and inefficient models Detroit now makes.

But back to the media....

The Washington Post graphics department printed up fliers and started circulating them to lobbyists and "association executives" offering unfettered access to not only their journalists and editors but to mover-and-shaker members of the hussein White House staff. The price? A paltry $250,000.00.

And even better? Where would these little tet-e-tets take place? At the home of the Washington Post publisher, Kathy Weymouth.

But that's not the really unbelievable part, because it could be reasoned that this was a desperate grab for quick cash from a major media outlet nearly $20 million in the hole (you would think hussein would only ask for a few sexual favors for a loan of that size....). No, the really unbelievable part is the counter-story that Ms. Weymouth is asking the American Public to buy.

The flyers were being distributed to targeted individuals without ANY APPROVAL WHATSOEVER and without having been vetted by the senior staff or Ms. Weymouth. In fact.... and here's the really great part.... the flyers apparently mis-represent the whole thing, and it only makes it LOOK bad because that's not really what the $250,000.00 is for.

So if Kathy Bigmouth is to be believed, some poor schlub in the graphics department heard the boss was throwing a party and decided that this event should be publicized. So that poor schlub generates a detailed graphic with information that was wholly made up, about how for $250,000.00 you, the intended target audience, can socialize not only with that poor schlub's co-workers (whom, it can reasonably be assumed, the poor schlub is enamored of and thanks his/her lucky stars they get to work with every day of his/her life...) but also with the ruling elite of DC who, without any reason to believe it will happen, Poor Schlub is promising will alight form their castle in the sky and come down to join in on.

You buying this?

Poor Schlub is a pretty resourceful person, because not only did he/she generate the graphic, but then he/she managed to use company equipment without authorization, print up the flier on company gloss paper (you don't waste these things on newsprint, that would be gauche....) and then also without any approval whatsoever used the power and authority of the graphics department to ensure that all of these fliers started circulating to lobbyists and others who might benefit.

Poor Schlub is an extremely loyal employee, don't you think?

Imagine that meeting... PS walks into the secretary's office for Ms. Bigmouth and asks if Ms. Bigmouth can see her.

"Why would I waste my time on the graphics department staff? That's what I hire janitors for? Ms. Bigmouth replies over the intercom.

"But Ms. Bigmouth (the name is changed to protect the stupid...) Mr. or Mrs. Schlub is standing right in front of me. What do I tell him or her?" the secretary opines.

Exasperated, Ms. Bigmouth replies "Tell Graphics to send a cart up here and retrieve their wayward puppy. I already told you I'm not to be disturbed while Obama music videos are playing in my office.!"

And so Poor Schlub is sent, somewhat tearfully, back to the basement office he/she works in.

Seriously, graphics people are NOT high on the decision-making scale, and for a flier of this sort to be generated and distributed to targeted individuals without any one's permission, and totally misrepresenting the truth (which, by the way, it can reasonably argued is the job of the editorial staff...) is pretty much incomprehensible.

Had the mistake been a comma, or maybe the time being half an hour off for the event, maybe I could buy that. But wholesale inaccurate information and targeted distribution?

The UAW are hailing their successful theft of GM and doing NOTHING about the brand new 22% unemployment destroying the largest cities in Wisconsin, owing to that self-serving measure.

Hillary Clinton has proven that her foreign-policy acumen is beyond reproach as she managed to get Pakistan nearly f**ked over by "encouraging" them to give sanctuary to the Taliban.... with whom we are.... I thought... at war. But that's okay, it takes away the emphasis we had on her blaming the US for the rise in Mexican Drug Cartel Wars that threaten to spill into USA cities.

Colin Powell has elicited the coveted title of head of the Republican Party by saying how great president hussein is.

Janet Napolitano is on record that she will willingly and purposefully violate her oath of office by failing to enforce laws, as well as by allowing (encouraging?) written reports that the public are not meant to see in which Conservatism is equated with terrorism. Not, of course, with any factual basis, but still...

Janeane Garafolo (who only THINKS she has a say in politics...) is happy to equate critical review of the political process that violates Constitutional law with racism on the sole basis that there is a black man involved.

Yes, there is far more out there to blog about.

So what is my message in all of this? Is it just to say that I don't like them and I want to bitch? Is it some misguided sense of patriotism that is streaking down my spinal column? In what is becoming something of a national-interest legal issue, the Supreme Court overturned a controversial ruling against white firefighters in New Haven, Connecticut who were denied promotions they earned through test scores in a test which was then thrown out because no minorities who took the test passed.

In this amusing AP article on Yahoo! much is made by the losing side, the Labor law attorneys, about how this has created a minefield for employers who are legitimately seeking to remain fair to minority employees. After all... what possible guidelines could they have for basing promotions on now?

If I were distaff president of the united states hussein my response might be....

"....Ahhh, we can no longer afford to continue to grade people on the same old tired standards that have for too long ruled this land of yours. We must act, and we must do so right away, to ensure that everyone is treated equally, and with respect. Just when you think NOBODY likes us overseas it becomes clear that they really will miss us. At least that's what I'm getting from THIS AFP piece found on Yahoo! news.

Just as we are about to pull our troops away from the civilian centers and allow autonomous Iraqi troops to police their own properties, we find out that wait a second... umm... they don't want us to leave.

The same Iraqis who we have been told hate our guts.... the ones president hussein has said are being systematically tortured into horrible submission by us, are concerned about the vacuum of power left behind in the northern region of Iraq, historically a Kurd-dominated province.

The Kurds, for their part, have good reason to hate Americans. George Bush Sr. gave them every reason to believe that post-Gulf War he would provide material support for a coup attempt against Saddaam. That support never showed, and hundreds of Kurds were slaughtered as they wondered where their American friends had gone to.

Flash forward to present day, and the Kurds are boxed in between their own country and the increasingly hostile Turkish government. Smell the fear? I'd be making any kind of power-grab I could there too.

So the people of northern Iraq don't want the Americans to leave. We provided peace, stability, an opportunity to rebuild under protective eyes.

What cads we are. How inhuman could we be?

We want to bring our men and women home safely and we pray for the day they need not be placed in harm's way, and that day is getting further and further away from us as each new movement by our beloved overlord becomes known. I am grateful that we could secure the nation and protect the Iraqis.

In truth, the lives lost in Iraq from US military is dwarfed by the murders and bombings and Al Qaeda tortures committed by other countries and by the Iraqis themselves. With great effort and very rare slip-ups, our soldiers have conducted themselves with great honor and held no malice toward the Iraqi citizens.

A fond farewell to Farrah Fawcett....

Since I had the good taste to use the tragic and unexpected death of 80s icon Michael Jackson for a cheap political point, I felt I should take a moment to discuss the true tragic news of the day.

Farrah Fawcett has passed away. She has a long and painful bout with rectal cancer and her story, while presented in a recent made-for-cable movie, has really not been highlighted.

Let me tell you why she is worthy of the time to write about. Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, the mega-mutant Rock Star, will be feted for weeks to come and his passing will have humbly reminded Obama that we need a better and more comprehensive health care plan. Much will be made of his legacy and his wonderousness.... but still he'll feel a vague sadness for Michael Jackson.... oh wait...

But Farrah likely will not be given great accolades. She will have a few small testimonials, and soon, very soon life will go on and she will be kind of remembered.

But she deserves far better from us than that. Farrah had two choices when she made the somewhat questionable decision to leave Charlie's Angels at the height of her popularity: Continue with the cheesecake and fluff or go for the serious stuff.

Well okay, we know she didn't film her own version of "The Razor's Edge", so she went into features and made some tepid movies. Honestly, I recall seeing "Sunburn" but apart from her in an orange jumpsuit and I think Charles Grodin wandering around, I don't really recall much more than that. She went on to a few other films, including the dizzily idiotic, yet still compelling "Saturn Three" with Kirk Douglas as her boyfriend, and Harvey Keitel's toy robot as her stalker.

These films proved to her that she would never be taken seriously as an actress.

THAT's when she became worthy of our praise.

No more bra-less roles, no more giggly, jiggly parts in silly frothy films... she made a conscious choice to go the harder, less travelled route and made films like "The Burning Bed" and "Extremities" for which she practiced on Broadway for a very long time.

She WORKED very hard and soon she destroyed the poster image and re-invented herself as a fully formed person. She took a conservative value to EARN what she gained through hard work, perseverance and determination, and it paid off.

There were times, particularly in the last ten years or so, where she came across as ditsy or weird, slathering her nude body with paint and rolling around on canvas for her kids... or going a little nutty on a late-night talk show to the point where nobody knew what she was saying or doing...

She has not always been the paragon of virtue. But she earned respect for being capable of doing the one thing she will always be remembered to do... which was to act.

Some people will tell you that acting is just playing and it's easy. That's not true. Anyone who has tried understands it's a real discipline, and it requires much more than just good looks, it requires a skill-set that most people simply do not possess. A skill-set you do not get in school.

While the rest of the world grinds their teeth over Michael Jackson, I will raise a can of energy drink to Ms. Fawcett, remember all the fun times and the scary times, and thank her for being Farrah.

There was no other like her and it seems this world will not see her like again.

This is the equivalent of a Doctor finding out his patient has a high cholesterol count so he treats the patient by draining his blood and replacing it with a mixture of milk and honey. Sure the intentions are good, but the existing infrastructure just isn't gonna pump milk and honey.

In this Yahoo!AP report, Republican claims that this bill will destroy jobs are countered with the sage wisdom of both hussein and dragon lady pelosi... to wit...

Republicans: crippling taxes for vital fuels will strangle American workers' budgets, raise prices on the resources themselves, and force the industries working in those fields to pay out punitive fees for just being in business.

hussein: No it won't.

Okay, I'm sold. With logic like that I can't help but be convinced that president hussein has our best interests at heart.

And let's not forget the sage and well-laid-out plan dragon lady has for us: "It'll create millions of new jobs."

Does she get paid based upon specificity?

Now let's take a look at American exceptionalism. When this was still a nation of thinkers and not dunces, we would work together to overcome legitimate obstacles and we would work long and hard and become incredibly innovative when we were faced with very real, very legitimate problems to solve.

The Japanese have decimated our naval forces in the Pacific in World War II? One aircraft carrier, a host of brave submarines and destroyers, and the guts of the finest fighting forces in the world would turn the tide and kick Nip hinder until the US Industrial complex could knock out more aircraft carriers, and the trained men to run them.

But you see, therein lies the problem. We are NOT facing a real challenge. There is not a real timetable, and the threat of Global Warming (now called climate change to account for the myriad masses of data piling up to support the intelligent viewpoint that the planet ISN'T F**king warming up....) are just smoke screens to get us frightened into action or inaction. We are NOT banding together to overcome these odds because the only thing odd about them is the credibility with which these people seem to believe they have.

This bill will harm yet another crucial sector of the American Marketplace, and one in which so many other elements operate with.

I sure hope those retarded baboons that voted for president hussein are happy. In a few short months he's tearing down what real Americans took years to build. But that's unfortunately the truth. Yes, hussein appears to be accomplishing a great deal. It's so much easier to destroy than to create.

The 2010 Census....

There's been a mild resurgence in the "should we fill out the 2010 Census form" debate. The belief is that the Census form will be much more detailed and will ask for far more personal information from U.S. Citizens than has ever been asked.... questions many feel are overly intrusive.

So, even though I had already weighed in on this some months ago by declaring that one should really only answer those questions one believes are valid.... I wanted to see if a sample questionnaire in inf act exists to review. I did not find one, however I did find THIS information.

As you can see, the form is very trimmed down, the info is very basic, and it appears there would be nothing that would be untoward here.

My first reaction was "Well... okay... we just got all worked up over nothing...."

And then my second reaction kicked in.....

What is so different from this very simple form that not only was ACORN called in to participate, but they have been going to every single address in the country specifically to GPS-paint every front door of every dwelling?

Why would anyone WANT ACORN to collect this very basic information? Why would the people from the bureau that usually handle this not be up to the task of getting a properly shortened and simplified form filled out?

Why ACORN?

Finding the sublime in those little Obama moments...

I'm going to be up front and honest about this.... this is really minor league stuff here. I'm including it just because these two things are kind of indicative of president hussein in ways too ludicrous to explain otherwise.

First, I was watching "American Dad" on Fox this evening (that's right, I went there....) and there was one of those interminable Obama infomercial things where he tells us things. Tonight's was at least holiday-themed. His message.... "be a good father. It doesn't take much, all you have to do is go to the park or to the zoo".

So I waved goodbye to my family, got up and went to the zoo.

Told my wife and son I'd be back in a few hours.

As a sad post-script to this, my son, also thankfully not a liberal, cornered me and said "You never listen to anything this guy tells you to do!". I replied... "Hey, My President just gave me an order!!!!".

Well, it seemed pretty funny at the time....

It seems Bay inserted news footage of the Obamanator into the film with reports that he was worried about Robot Insurance for the elderly, or some such crap.

Why? Well, when the two met each other by accident and Bay tripped over himself reciting his resume he became so excited that he had been recognized that he just HAD to put the man in his movie.

My wife was physically unable to sit through all fourteen and a half hours of the confusing and directionless first film largely due to the combination of flashing lights and screeching high-pitched noises. She literally became ill.

Hello, everybody.... back from Grand Jury duty and ready to get back into the fight.

And speaking of fights, our beloved and most holy master president hussein has peeled away another layer of the veneer that hides the real face behind the throne. I refer of course to the current situation in Iran. Read this story on CNN.com.

A little back-story... for roughly 50 years the Iranians have had a troubled relationship with us. We did a few bad things... and in fact we do kind of owe them a bit for it, except that they have become so belligerent and insular that it's hard to develop relations with them to "mend the fence". But you know what... we're all adults here... we should be able to swallow a little pride on both sides and start working together.

Yet the Iranians' anger has become so great in the past thirty years that they have become the largest supporter of terrorism in the mid-east, and they CONTINUALLY interfere with other countries developments. Don't believe me? Just ask any Iraqi you might happen to meet.

Or you could ask any one of scores of hundreds of American soldiers who met their ends not at the hands of the Iraqi's they were fighting, and now working side by side with, but from the cowardly faceless assault of IUDs with armor-piercing molten copper designed to take away any protection at all from their deadly blasts.

What I'm basically saying is, Iran isn't exactly sitting in the moral high ground either.

So now that a general election has (predictably) been seen to be rigged in favor of the incumbent, the Iranian population, notably the younger people, are (not very typically...) enraged and rioting in the street. And this with the knowledge that they could be attacked by their own military.

Now ordinarily a sitting U.S. President would issue a condemnation of Iran for cracking down on its own people for exercising their right to demonstrate against an unfair election process.

But these are extraordinary times, and they call for the extraordinary talents of Mr. Apologist for the United States Barack Hussein Obama. A man so special and impressive that only he could classify the events in Iran as "... a vigorous debate".

He is oh so worried that his america not be seen to be interfering with Iran because, y'know, they're kind of touchy about that sort of thing.

Let me clue the commander-in-chief in on a little secret.... IT'S NOT F**KING INTERFERING WITH ANOTHER COUNTRY WHEN YOU OPENLY OPPOSE THEIR RATHER PUBLICLY VIOLENT CRACK-DOWN OF THEIR OWN PEOPLE!

My Duty to My Government...

I owe you all an apology. I kind of dropped off the face of the interweb for a couple of weeks for two reasons. First, I am serving on Grand Jury in New York State which is about the most interesting and important job a citizen can do for his society short of joining the armed forces.

Naturally, I can not discuss any of it, which is a matter of law. But I can tell you that once you have done this you have learned a great number of things you may not have known before. I am, for a change, one of "The People" in "The People Vs. ....". I'm not actually referring to any case here, but rather the phrase itself.

Second, I was getting a bit unsure for a little while about what all this was for. Was it right, my ranting online about things I can not change? Was this a constructive process?

And I've come to the conclusion that yes, this IS important.

And I owe the Grand Jury service for helping me to reach my decision.

You see, in Grand Jury you are one of 23 jurors. You are NOT there to determine guilty or innocent, you are there to determine is the case worth making against the defendant in the first place. You find out quickly that the number 23 was NOT come upon randomly. It is sufficient people that it prevents an accidental grouping of like-minded people. It prevents any one person from having too much of a say.

So in many ways, I have been one of many, many bloggers out there sitting in de facto Grand Jury duty against the defendant, one Barack Obama. We can not determine his guilt or innocents, we can just review the evidence and submit it to you, the readers, and you have to make up your own mind.

And the frustration that many of us feel and write about, that is also a necessary part of the process. It is our "rat in a cage" feeling that we are only one voice, while the defendant in this case, the afore-mentioned Barack Obama, appears to have a very powerful and in-control attorney who threatens to stop the case against him. That would be the Democratic party and their strangle-hold of the U.S. Government, and the mainstream media, which is just breathlessly in love with Obama.

And I can tell you from experience, a defendant with a bit of acumen at this sort of thing can easily win over a jury even if his story has swiss-cheese level holes in it. Do NOT underestimate the power and control that a winning and sympathetic personality can have. It can make people think things that are just plain not substantiated by the facts.

And no one has done so with such flair and style and capricious damage to the country as Obama. I still find myself aghast at the idea that such hatred against our country was ever willingly installed by the people.

But then that's one of the things you learn in Grand Jury. Some people will not, can not be swayed by the facts when they have a good emotional feeling. Facts are the province of the rich balding white man. Facts represent "The Man". Facts are something that liberal-minded people think are tools to confuse them and harm them, and distract them from their feelings.

Facts.

Feelings.

Which would you rather were the governing decision-making process?

But in this country, in this time, in this political climate, it is considered poor form to use facts in your arguments. It is considered divisive and makes people suspicious of you.

Some days I almost regret that my hairline has remained intact.

I wish I could be more specific than I am, but I don't wish to find myself on the wrong side of the Grand Jury process.

I'm not sure if I would want to be a U.A.W. leader just now. On the one hand they have president hussein working his damndest to take care of them, and yet, on the other hand they have president hussein working his damndest to take care of them.

Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't....

No matter how you slice it, the word "Damned" just keeps crawling back in to the lexicon.

GM's post hussein image is starting to take shape and it is being hailed as a major success on his part. He has stripped them of advertising ability, cut their ranks in half, and re-distributed ownership to the UAW, except for what he himself has kept.

Did you read that? The UAW's membership was halved in that company.

I'm not a union member, nor particularly a supporter of unions, but isn't their goal to have as many zombie-drone workers as possible?

And yet their master, president hussein, has cut in half the number of GM employees.

I'd say this is a Pyrrhic victory on the part of the UAW. They own a portion of the wealth, but the wealth is in a company no longer capable of producing in a competitive format, and even if they were, they can't advertise fairly against foreign competition.

So hussein is trying to kill the industry he promised to rescue, and at the same time he's badly wounding the union he rewarded for their fidelity in voting for him by removing their limbs.

Did I already use the word "Damned"? I forget.

And on a side-note, much of what hussein has been touching in the private sector has resulted in mass layoffs. Sure we'll help you save your company, but what's left of it when we're done won't be enough for vultures to pick over.

Makes you proud to live in hussein's america, doesn't it?

Now it seems to me that president hussein spent... ummm... $870,000,000,000.00 only four months ago, in a bid to spark the economy and rebuild the nation. How many jobs has he created? Well, he CLAIMS so far 25 police officers in Ohio....

And how many people have LOST THEIR JOBS due to the actions of president hussein?

Like with the Economic Stimulus Package before it, the number is too high for most people to comprehend.

In the 2,010 edition of Websters' Dictionary, under the phrase "Epic Fail" should be a picture of the historic mulatto president hussein.

So, in much the same way that color was not an issue with president hussein (until, at least, after he became the president... and then people wouldn't shut up about it....), race once again is so sensitive an issue that any kind of fight against this woman on purely logical grounds is immediately nullified by further damaging the Republican Party.

First, if her nomination is that big a concern maybe she should not have been nominated. After all, it's not like she's there for her capacity, but rather for her gender and her race...

Second, the Republican Party as it stands right now is a worthless bunch of idiots incapable of deciding how to tie their shoes let alone put up a cohesive team.

Conservatism is not the same as Republicanism, and it's high time the two be sorted out and separated. Colin Powell, who considers himself a Republican, is so firmly behind the desecration of the United States of America he might as well put on a skimpy cheerleader outfit and knee-pads and go cheer on hussein in person (this, assuming he already hasn't done so...).

So let the Republican Party cave to pressure to keep the Hispanic vote, which of course they weren't exactly in the running for anyhow, and let them listen to so-called moderates.

The time has come to alienate the Republicans for selling themselves down the river, and to form a more solid base for the Conservative Party, and make it the central contender against all the unholiness that is in charge right now.

If Hispanics are unhappy with Conservatives for opposing Sotomayer, then they are unworthy of calling themselves Conservatives. Afterall , Sotomayer is against the things that make America great. So those people are lost anyhow.

Conservatism does not bow to public opinion, it forms public opinion. Republicans can bend and bow and suck all they want...

To be honest I had about five different things I've wanted to post about in the past few days, including a few personal ones, but this being a Holiday weekend I was comfortable with holding back. But as THIS NEWS ARTICLE SHOWS it is incumbent upon me to jump on this one quickly... and so I have to break my holiday embargo briefly.

The RNC has launched an ad campaign equating Nancy Pelosi with strict and potentially lesbian James Bond character Pussy Galore. Honestly, from the 69 year old woman's point of view, this might even be considered flattering. And yet the mainstream media and the Democrats are aghast because.... (gasp!!!!) it's not in good taste.

In fact, they argue, it's unseemly to attack someone by targeting their gender. Why what must N.O.W. think? I'm sure the three-year olds hosting "The View" must be all up-in-arms on this one.

Imagine, attacking a public figure, a person of some legitimate station in her career, by assaulting her femininity.

I know... let's get some commentary from Sarah Palin. As a fellow woman she may feel some sympathy.

After all. if anyone knows what it feels like to be ridiculed, gender-assaulted, publicly humiliated, derided for her looks, assaulted for just about anything but the one thing that legitimately mattered, her political viewpoint, it's Sarah Palin.

You can refer to the Governor of Alaska as a pig both in Congress and on National Television, but equate one of the most infamous women in America, a woman who has lied and cheated and publicly derided the fair play her boss at least publicly expects, with a younger, much more attractive Lesbian dominatrix, and suddenly the cat claws come out.

I'm hoping this one elevates, it would be kind of fun to see this get settled in a hot oil wrestling contest, or something.

Seriously, calling for fair play mere months after the assault on Sarah Palin is completely unjustified. Especially in light of the treatment the Liberal community, for whom Nancy Pelosi is the figurative House Madam, has given Carrie Prejean, whose religion-based and moral viewpoint, which had been duly solicited in a calculated attack, was then assaulted by dredging up and posting potentially embarrassing semi-nude photos taken a few years earlier. The fact that they revealed at least as much as the Miss America swimsuit pageant did not seem to matter.

They were attacking her hypocrisy for being a Christian woman who didn't believe in Gay marriage.

The Hypocrisy!!!!!

We can not let the Left determine the ground rules by how the actions harm them... they are either harmful to everyone or they are fair game to both parties.

So for now, Nancy Galore... get out that riding crop and dominatrix the hell out of avoiding your responsibilities to the the oath of office you took. It's the least we've come to expect from a dried up old hag like you.

president hussein's first debate with a real Conservative...

As evidenced in this interesting article president hussein has never had a real debate with a real right-wing opponent, someone who won't be bullied or belittled.

The subject: Closing Gitmo and restoring America's stance against torture.

The opponent: Vice President Dick Cheney, who has taken flack for a little too long from the new administration.

hussein takes the stance that by using enhanced interrogation techniques which were illegal, we generated a whole host of terrorists who otherwise would have loved America. The theory being that if we treat the bad guys significantly better than they would treat our men and women under similar circumstances then the Terrorists would all have gone "Awww jeez, I feel kinda stupid, y'know... just hating America like that. I'm gonna go hug my daughter and raise a flower garden instead.".

It could happen. You never know.

Cheney takes the stance that in the same way that police hard line question criminals in order to gain information to save lives, enhanced interrogation techniques have actively saved lives. And THAT is the goal, not worrying about the rights of those who would kill us.

On the surface hussein is the winner. Afterall, who's NOT for making friends.

But that surface is molecule-thin and impressively unrealistic.

The interrogation techniques were duly vetted and approved, much more so in fact than hussein's eligibility to the office of President of the United States (but then, what hasn't been if you think about it....).

On the issue of whether or not Gitmo created terrorists, this is just sophistry designed to get us to feel guilty. The idea that one would love America and then suddenly become violently enraged over a penal system that has affected a handful of terrorists is frankly idiotic and childish. Terrorists come from a deep-seated hatred born from years of indoctrination.

Apparently, as with so many other things, president hussein was never briefed about the role of the U.S. President.

A Solution for poor Barack...

After reading THIS NEWS REPORT I felt really sorry for president hussein. It must be tough when you generously dole out toys to all your friends, and you go to all the houses on the block and tell the mommies that you know you shouldn't have trampled on the flowers, but you're just incorrigible, but you're really sorry and it won't happen again, and you've gone into the sandbox and took away all the other kids' toy cars so they would stop fighting, and you told the teacher how Timmy was getting too much chocolate milk in the lunchline... more than the other kids, anyhow, and you've showed all those kids on the next block how awesome your new ten-speed bicycle was, even though most of them still remember the time they were knocked to the ground by a bully on a 10-speed, and you try and you try and you try....

And still no one will do whatever you tell them to do just because.

Y'see, kids are like that. You can't buy their love. You can buy some gratitude, that's for sure, but in the end love is not something you can enforce on the world. The More you try the More it will prove to you how stupid you are for having thought you could.

And now poor hussein has a problem. He told all the kids and the teachers that he is going to take away the "naughty corner" where the bad kids are told to stand and face the wall for an unspecified amount of time. You have convinced everyone that those kids just need to be loved, and the idea of the "naughty corner" will only enrage the bad boys and make them be badder.

But without a place to send the bad boys to so that they can be punished for putting frogs in suzy's desk, the bad boys will just have to placed back into the classrooms.

Which is where they wanted to do their bad things in the first place.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and steal one of Dana Carvey's catch-phrases here.... "Well isn't that special?"

When even Congress and the Senate begin to show rational thought and tells hussein in no uncertain terms they don't want the scum of the earth brought into the very country they have vowed to destroy and given nice suburban homes, universal health care, and the right to vote... well it's pretty obvious a nerve has not only been touched, but likely tortured with pliers hooked up to a car battery.

Of course, the answer is simple. What if.... and just hear me out on this, what if we just built a prison somewhere where they can be kept safe and not be a danger to anybody, and then we can try them after their comrades have all agreed that maybe being sent to a prison somewhere where they can't harm anyone is a bad thing, and therefore not a good risk in the line of their goal to kill Americans.

I know... It's pie-in-the-sky and would never work. It's not like such a facility would have contributed to eight years of safe Americans or anything.

Yeah... you know what, I live in New York State. I'm thinking, what the hell.... give us your poor, your hungry, your religiously-motivated kill-crazy, and let 'em loose.

To think that a school would have the right to have a policy of some sort, one in which the little tyke was actually able to go ahead and do what she set out to do, is just horrifying. The next thing you know we'll all be invading countries and torturing anybody who isn't White, which as we all know leads to a failure to provide serial killers with knife-sharpening equipment so as to ensure they have usable tools for their chosen profession.

Professional athletes have to tread a fine line. Moreso that bimbos like Janeane Garafolo, pro athletes have to watch what they say because their livelihood is dependent upon one thing.. teamwork.

Pittsburgh Steelers teammate James Harrison is, I believe, a bit of a high-profile person. So when he makes a public statement it tends to reflect on the team. Clearly he has to watch what his politics are, so he may tend to couch some dialogue in more vague terms.

So when he came out in a blog recently saying he would decline a trip to the Whitehouse to meet with president hussein everyone gets riled up and starts calling him names.

Seriously, read this news piece I just stumbled upon... The author is derisive and abusive, and much of the talkback is equally condescending.

But Mr. Harrison is not apparently a stupid man. He could say something like "Barack Obama has the political acumen of a Danish Whore" which may in fact be somewhere along the lines he's really thinking. I Don't know. But he at least is stating his mind about the lack of pleasure he has for going to the Whitehouse under the current circumstances.

Which offends people.

I mean, here president hussein generously invites him to live the life of the Hollywood elite for a few hours and eat far better than most Americans will do in a year, and the man just goes up in his face and disses him like that. Who WOULDN'T want to go to the Whitehouse and meet the president of the united states of america?

What a pleasant a charming way to erode the Bible...

CNN.com, in its mission to erode the concept that God and Religion are legitimate aspects of life, certainly an annoying concept to anyone who believes unborn children shouldn't be allowed the rights granted to kill-crazy Islamo-fascists, has reported on a warm and charming former evangelical who now works to denounce the bible.

What's different from the normal mode of attack is that it's presented in lighter, brighter colors so that you don't realize what is being said. This guy isn't angry and upset, he's well-read and he just doesn't believe the tenants of the bible are real.

They cite the Resurrection of the Christ as a prime example. Using zero evidence Bart Ehrman claims that there is no reason to believe that anyone actually saw Jesus arise from his grave. Instead he believes that the Apostles imagined it.

Uh huh....

If I remember my Bible correctly, nobody DID see Jesus arise from the grave.Certainly the Roman guard guarding the entrance to the cave missed that one. In fact the Apostles were confronted by Jesus nearly two weeks after his murder as they gathered in a locked room (remember, these were not people the Roman Government were particularly happy to have roaming around...). One of the Apostles, Thomas, was not present and Jesus had left by the time he had arrived. Upon being told the story, he refused to accept it.

It wasn't until Jesus appeared at a later date and begged Thomas to place his fingers inside the death-wound in his side that Thomas finally came to believe that this was the Christ, risen from the grave. This is in fact the story of where the phrase "doubting Thomas" comes from.

This is all pretty well laid out in the Bible... the one Christians use anyhow.

How that translates into "it was a dream" is anyone's guess.

Now the reality is that the Bible is not a tome that refers to all people at all times for now unto infinity. Take Leviticus, for instance... Leviticus is often described as hard line, and in fact is one of the very few places in the Bible where Homosexuality is brought up. Along with many other practices Homosexuality is frowned upon as not a very religious lifestyle... which, of course, it is not. However the writings of Leviticus, as with many of the writings of the Bible, were geared for the people of roughly 100 AD, but in such a way that many primary truths still resonate to this day.

The horrible and inescapable fact is that a truth can still be a truth years later.

Additionally, it's an extremely common practice int he bible to use parallels in fictional storytelling in order to get out various points of view. The '70s musical Godspell is a recap of Jesus telling the Apostles the lessons they need to know so that they can go out and channel his teachings to the public.

So why should author Bart Ehrman want to do damage to the beliefs of the bible? For one thing it's in vogue now... "The DaVinci Code" is a popular novel and movie that suggests that the bloodline of Jesus continues to this day, which is a cover-up by the Church. I've no idea what "Angels and Demons" is actually about but at a guess it's likely not about how awesome the Knights Templar were.

CNN couldn't be happier to have this popular anecdotal diatribe to launch against organized religion. Their master, president hussein for whom the concept of the beginning of life is above his pay-grade... (yeeeesh... I still can't believe he said that....) is a vocal supporter of baby-killing... not just abortion, but repeat abortion for those rare instances when particularly tough babies aren't killed on the first attempt... his is a vision of the miracle of life that suggests he believes Dick Cheney is somehow behind such a fascist control of women. CNN will leap to his defense and champion his causes just so long as they can stay in his good graces.

So forget how polite and warm the message is, it's still a message of removing religion from the plate so you can more easily act... well... in an immoral manner.

Carrie Prejean, who waited until she was vindicated by the Miss USA organizers to then turn her back on them and disgrace them for the miserable whores they were was not the only finalist from the Miss California Pageant to be vocal lately. Let's see what the others had to say.

Janeane Garafolo, long suspected of being an alien species that was trying to masquerade as human but somehow not quite getting it right, has been quite willing to display her ample talents when discussing things political. Her acceptance speech for the Miss California contest, in which she came in 3rd place, was said to be "...adorable and refreshingly feminine" by Perez Hilton.

"While it's true that men are pigs, men with a moral code are even worse. They display a limbic thing that precludes them from using multi-syllabic phrases that are meaningless. I agree that all unborn babies have a right to be killed and taxes are the greatest thing going. But killing babies is really not the issue, it's the racism associated with them. Did you know that all murdered babies are killed because of their race, and that's only because these people with moral values want to enforce their own personal version of right and wrong on the babies and limbic brains. Why should a baby be forced to live with people who don't even know what Tea is... I mean if you ask them they all think it's an anti-government thing and it really isn't It's racism and that's what is bad for our babies, so I say we slaughter them all."

Meanwhile the #2 entry, runner-up to the crown of Miss California Wanda Sykes, was more intelligible and coherent..."I think all white women need to just shut the hell up! I mean what is it with them anyhow? They just prattle on about moral values and Jesus... that dude never asked ME out on a date, and he sure as hell ain't never wanted to save MY soul. In fact I think all people with moral values is just plain ignorammmable.... you all know what I mean!...."

There's a long pause while her audience laughs, reads emails on their blackberries, and mentally dresses her in a parka and a snowmobile suit to cleanse their heads....

And then she starts up again... "Gay marriage? Why the hell not? If you're gonna let straight people get married then gay people should get married. Doesn't it make more sense that we should have same-sex marriages? I mean opposite sex don't even sound natural, do it? It sounds like some sort of perversion, like maybe Dick Cheney buying a derringer instead of a shotgun. I mean ain't it the truth? I just wish all straight people would die of diahrrea! I just hate you all!!!"

Noted former Vice President, friend-shooter, and defender of the United States of America Dick Cheney has of course been making the rounds in the press lately as the sole political figure standing up for what a good number of Americans believe was a good time for the US of A... the Bush Administration.

Here's an interesting article.

While George Bush lacked pizazz and hollywood glitz, he more than made up for it in good old-fashioned love of his Country. He behaved while in office as a man convinced that the office itself was the important part of the job, not his own petty desires. He kept his pants on, his mouth shut when it pertained to things that might lower the dignity of the office (bi-partisan spats, for instance... ) and he largely followed party lines, although not always as conservatively as some would have liked.

His successor however is all pizazz and gaffes and charm and teleprompters and violations of constitutional laws and offending of millions of Americans and American Allies. president hussein is a dazzling mulatto of exceptional partisanship, and short of the idea that there is no reason to believe he has even considered cheating on his satanic alter-ego imp from hell wife, in all other respects he has been a thoroughly contemptible man who favors the honoring of his own reign over the majesty and importance of the office.

So now the only person standing up from that administration to defend it is Cheney. He has only two reasons to be defiant. Even though Rush says he has no reason to do this other than love of country, the man IS penning an autobiography and it WOULD be helpful to have some advance publicity. One thing hussein is good for, it's generating loads of press. It's easy when he owns the media outright.

But still, Cheney has the marks of a man who does not care if you like him, he's gonna do what is right anyhow. He has worked tirelessly for both the Bush administrations to protect America. So I believe he has legitimate reasons for wanting to prove that the interrogation techniques are not only legal, but absolutely vital to protect Americans from further harm.

And the kicker is, in their defense as to why they would not release the two memos he wants, is that they are pertinent to two pending lawsuits and therefore cannot be released.

You can suggest that this is some under-the-radar lawsuit from the hussein camp that is prosecuting criminal Republicans and their attorneys for their horrible gall to heinously place non-bitey bugs into cells with killers and thugs. But you'd be wrong.

As I said, the one thing the hussein camp has going for it is their absolute and totally abusines control over the media, which means if he were the one pressing charges the case would be so high-profile he'd have to make yet another special TV appearance to bore us with his preening over it.

So no, this is in reality a matter of a case where the memos did what they were SUPPOSED to do, and in fact the case is being prosecuted properly and now fewer Americans have died at the hands of the enemy.

Go ahead... give me another scenario.

So thanks to USAToday.com, we now know that the memos Cheney wants A)are legitimate and B) demonstrate the effectiveness of the Bush/Cheney approach.

Alerted to this juicy little bit of media that the mainstream wants covered up, by WorldNet News,
at this past weekend's Whitehouse Correspondent's dinner, usually an occasion for politicians to make jokes and playfully jab at each other, the night appears to have been rife with hatred and tactlessness.

It was already widely reported that president hussein's monologue compared himself favorably to Jesus Christ, teased his own image by saying he can be even more astounding and better in his second hundred days, and continued on with his usual trashing of the previous administration.

Now to be fair, Miss Sykes is a comedienne and her job is to do whatever she can to be funny. In her case the only thing that works for her is to perpetuate stereotypical images of the black community and use her God-Given grating and, let's be honest just awful voice. And she does use it to pretty good effect, even going so far as to play a cow in animation voice work.

So when she has the opportunity to talk about her main squeeze Rush Limbaugh, who embodies everything she hates in the world, she can't help but maybe go a little too far, like for instance wishing him dead.

But then to lay false accusations against him... believing that Rush's well-placed distrust of the president and his Socialist policies, makes him a treasonous man, a traitor (her words...) is going beyond the veil of comedy. For one to do something like that in the name of comedy one must present their case. Rush's crime = wanting president hussein's policies to falter and fail. She takes the liberal zombie mind-set that this means wanting Americans to suffer.

president hussein isn't the United States of America.

And somehow I wonder just how defensive she was with President Bush. Did she come running to his aid every time someone uttered a complaint about his policies?

But railing against a hack comedienne who's desperate to be noticed (No.. in this instance I'm not referring to Janeane Garafolo... but the parallels are striking, aren't they....?) is not really the point.

My point is, does anyone else notice how many people around president hussein have been saying or doing just outrageously asinine things? From the inaugural invocation with a pastor uttering racist hate words to.... well the Whitehouse Press dinner wherein a comedienne utters racist hate words... from Joe Biden saying just about anything to Janet Napolitano denying her oath of office by pointing out that illegal aliens are not illegal. There's a pattern forming here... a pattern of disquieting proportions. hussein laughing about the state of the economy, Hilary Clinton laughing about Somali piracy...

We're the joke. And we're here for the benefit of our elected officials.

The Venerable Colin Powell....

I understand that there's a bit of a to-do between Dick Cheney and Colin Powell as to whether or not he is a Republican.

On "Face the Nation" this Sunday Mr. Cheney was asked about Mr. Powell's comments on the Republican Party. He correctly answered that he was unaware that Mr. Powell was a still a Republican. The evidence is hardly inconclusive. Colin Powell, who was hardly comfortable in the Bush Administration, has made no bones about his allegiance.

When you tell the nation that you are going to endorse Barack Obama you pretty much have changed party affiliations. He can hardly claim to have been a Conservative Right-Wing person.

I feel a little guilty covering this because Rush is putting so much time and effort into it, but let's be honest, Colin Powell has had a jones against the Bush Administration ever since he was sent to the UN to sell them on the invasion of Iraq and he got laughed out of the place.

Unlike Rush I have no issue with whether or not he endorsed the hussein-ster due to his skin color. Of course that's an asinine reason for wanting anyone to be president... it's no more an indicator of your abilities than whether or not you wear boxers or briefs (I personally wear an orthopedic thong...). But on the "race" card, I have no problems.

You see, what is annoying, and while not quite as insidious, it's in the same field as the Arlen Specter thing... true Colin never ran for public office and was not elected General, but he basically came up through the ranks on a more temperate conservative platform. Liberals, in fact, have little ability to advance in the military unless it's through means other than merit.

So Colin projected the image of a man who had grown up understanding that the nation must be protected and that our troops were of utmost importance. He drew strength from the nation's pride in itself and from the advances that have transformed the American fighting man into the multi-tasking ambassadors, field medics, and soldiers that they have become.

(I must take issue with my own wording... "Man and Woman" is much more accurate. At my nephew's recent wedding, he a vet of both Bosnia and Iraq, I overheard a female member of the wedding party who had obviously done combat tours talking about how hot this other girl was and how the guy she was talking with should nail her, and then complaining somewhat amusingly about how stupid it was that this one woman brought make-up to Iraq.... "You Don't bring F***ing Makeup on deployment!" she laughed.... hate to say it, but she made me feel even more proud of our women in service. Pretty, capable, one of the guys, and likely just as lethal to the enemy.....)

Knowing that Bush was committed to America's safety Powell may have had some disagreements, but the cause should have been the same. And understanding that America's soldiers are the finest in the world and that Bush supported them 314 % more than most Americans, who were right up there in the 100% area.... Powell should have realized the goals again were very similar.

But like Specter before him, Powell has sold down the river the people who supported him and made a decision to back someone who would see our troops pay for their own health care for wounds suffered in combat.

The political landscape has positively crumbled and become a rocky jumble of unfamiliar terrain, but if jackasses like General Colin Powell get exposed for the traitors that they are in the fray, it's almost worth the price. We need to rout these weasels out of the Right-Wing conservative movement and establish once and for all we are NOT here for more of the same old failed policies and dogma of the hussein administration.

I make no claims toward being psychic or anything, I just kind of got lucky. In my last post I predicted that the only support from the pageant people that Carrie Prejean would get would be from Donald Trump.

It was just announced that the Trumpster saw things as they are and said y'know what... she's still gonna wear the crown.

I'm not sure, but I think the state of California just broke away and floated off in shock.

Holy Crap... a religious woman's beliefs were help up in a meatshow.

There goes the neighborhood.

Mixed signals in all directions...

I wouldn't classify my interest in the case of Carrie Prejean, potentially defrocked Miss America and amazingly appropriate Miss California, as particularly overt. I normally don't put much attention in the direction of beauty pageants, not least of all because I know I will never be crowned Miss New York, but also because they are a series of mixed signals that typifies what is wrong with the world lately.

And the mixed signals in this instance are all over the place. Even Miss Prejean is sending them. And in this article from CNN.com it's clear that drama slut P. Hilton has created such an avalanche that the most sane mind in the house may actually end up being Donald Trump.

You know it's a sad day in history when you turn to Trump for normalcy.

To be fair the pageant organizers have a few legitimate gripes. There are the semi-nude photos that are being used to embarrass Miss Prejean which, in some eyes, are doing just that. There are the actions she has taken which are not within the guidelines of the pageant since the major storm erupted, such as becoming an advocate for the National Organization for Marriage.

But lest you think I am feeling sorry for the beauty pageant people, they are sending their own massively mixed signals pretty severely themselves. They appear to have done nothing to stand behind their contestant in the face of a clear attack from one of the judges based entirely upon a prejudice toward her religious beliefs. This tacit approval undermines any message they may send that they are pro-woman.

But better than that, they just released a statement that just smacks of condescension and and urge to put Carrie, and any other "free thinkers" in their place. To wit....

"The turning point was when she decided that she wanted to move forward with media interviews, in spite of the fact that her message was dividing us rather than bringing us back together," Lewis said.

The pageant would "never want to take away a girl's beliefs or her voice," he said. "We try to make these women capable of being free thinkers."

The pageant organizers "try to make" these women free thinkers. They don't give them credence enough to suppose that maybe they already were free thinkers. As sexist a bit of trype as you're likely to cook this year.

And thanks to the pig Hilton, the pageant organizers are exposed for what they have been all along, purveyors of meat. Even then, however, their message is mixed, because they disdain any attempted purveying of that same meat that they themselves did not participate in.

Why am I at all interested in this case? After all we have a president of possibly illegal origin subverting our culture, providing aid and comfort to the enemy, denying our allies, scaring both the citizenry and major businesses, and pitting American against American all for his sole delight, along with a cackling mass media who have forfeited their right to any claims of being America's watchdogs. Why would a stupid beauty pageant have any merit?

Because it's absolutely typical of where we are in America right now. Those who hold religion as an important aspect of life and believe in the right things are being mercilessly assaulted for their beliefs, even being propped up so they can be as publicly humiliated as possible, by mewling cretinous not-quite human drama queens incapable of producing anything let alone extending the fairness they shrilly demand from others.

Intolerance in America does NOT come from the Right, it comes from the Left... and it insists that vengeance is not only proper, but is what this country is founded on.

When we went to war with England in the late 1700s it wasn't vengeance, it was freedom. That is why they have spent the bulk of the past two hundred plus years as one of our strongest allies. That was a war between men of good faith trying to find the best solution.

I miss the good old days when the best solution was a goal.

When is a Sacrament not a Sacrament?

In their rush to be included everywhere that they are not, the Gay and Lesbian community, in the form of hysterical queen Perez Hilton and any number of advocates who are either gay or gay sympathizers, have pressed forward an astonishingly hostile and heartless assault on people who feel marriage is an institution between a man and a woman.

As offensive as a straight marriage can be (the very term "straight" is itself offensive.... apparently... I guess....) it has the benefit of having been lent some history. It's an institution that goes back for many hundreds of years. I will grant you that on the opposing viewpoint gays have been around for probably as long, but never in any cohesive form that an enterprising young Mulatto could whip into a political force.

But the prevailing attitude in the country favors the formerly disenfranchised and whether or not their arguments have merit is not a deciding factor. Simply having been against the last eight years of the same old failed policies (their words, not mine...) is enough to ensure that you will get treated far more fairly and equally than those conservatives.

So if being disenfranchised was such a bad thing, does it make sense that inflicting disenfranchisement upon others is a positive step toward reconciliation? Once again logical discourse falls on stupid ears.

You see, I have problems with two different issues lately. One affects me very personally because my son is 15 and has begun to sprout bodily hair at an astonishing rate, and so I am trying very hard to understand the modus operandi and the whole point of Lycanthropy. Let's face it... when you look at it, Werewolves simply do not make any sense at all.

What do Werewolves want? Why do they automatically attack others and disembowel them? Food? Not likely. Bloodlust? Granted, that would be protected under the current administration, but again, not very likely. So I can't understand what the hell is the point to being a werewolf.

The other problem is really more of an academic one as it does not affect me anywhere near as directly. I have one lesbian friend for whom I'm quite fond, and she puts up a compelling argument for Gay marriage based upon fact and logical progression.

Which of course means she would likely be ostracized by the rest of the gay and lesbian community.

Making sense after all is anathema to their approach.

So the idea of gay marriage mystifies me.

Let me explain it. Marriage is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic church. Its function was for a way to formalize and provide a civilized form of approval over intimate relations in order to encourage reproduction. In the heady days before Anno Domini (heathens may prefer to Google that term...) people tended to get stoned with real stones for any little offence such as adultery. In fact it was so bad it reminds of the current political climate.

Anyhow, as I was saying, marriage is a sacrament. That kind of makes it a religious issue. Unions that occur under a civil circumstance I have no issue with. After all, that's just the government saying "sure, you can shack up... we don't care". But the government isn't God. And this is what pisses liberals off.

Because there is a God, and he/she/it/whatever doesn't have an interest in marriages that do not have a biologically ordained function (i.e, maintenance of the human race...) any union that occurs outside of the Church becomes roughly akin to two raccoons sharing a bed and a hot latte extra skinny. God really has had no say when having his words transcribed into text in the writing of the bible, as to the comings and goings of raccoons or other four-legged critters. In fact it is a matter of record that historically raccoons have only ever been invited to the kinds of parties that the cool kids DON'T throw, so they have very limited social lives.

My point is, the Church has no interest in gay marriage because it makes no sense to them. It's like me marrying a 1998 Plymouth Voyager SE... the parts don't fit together and after the first year or so the conversation begins to get a bit one-sided. People just don't have intimate relations with minivans or indeed, automobiles of any kinds (although the Prius is thought to be making inroads in this area....). Gay marriage will not result in children being born. Therefore it has no bearing on the church.

Now the argument that gay people have feelings to is not something I'm unsympathetic to. Apart from my previously mentioned shallow nephew-in-law, I believe that gay people have the same types of feelings anyone else does. This includes a strong desire to be united under the law.

But I take the same viewpoint as noted Bi-Sexual actor John Barrowman (an excellent singer and a truly handsome man... y'gads... ) who last year got married in England. He was quoted as saying that he did not want a religious ceremony because why would he want to be married by an organization that does not accept his lifestyle. This is an honest and straightforward answer.
And I approve of it.

I only have an issue on the subject of religious gay marriage. It has no place in society, makes no sense whatsoever.

If the shrill histrionics of Perez Hilton are to be listened to, he has no desire to have anything to do with God or Church. He is offended by them and places more faith in the changing whims of public policy than in the gravitas of two thousand years of unchanging religious doctrine.

So why should he care if the Church doesn't want to med a Buick and a Lemur in holy matrimony?

And yet he does.

Y'see, that's three things I just don't get... but if I ever do start to understand Ms. Hilton I think it'll be a very cold and horrible day.

100 days of the Eagle....

I've said it a few times that Rush Limbaugh does not need my help to spread his word, so I try very hard to just be creative and not to ape Rush's words. You have to excuse the occasional lapping over of ideas as an inevitability, but largely, Rush doesn't need me to help him.

Similarly, president hussein does not need me to help him either. He has the mainstream media, Hollywood idiots and delusionally self-important americans who have forsaken personal responsibility for the lure of easy-street.

So in accordance with these two not needing my help, I do not write today about the first 100 days of the new administration's presidency, but rather to a far more vital and important sector of the company.

The Conservative Movement.

If you consider the inauguration of hussein to be the point of death of a struggling Republican/Conservative constituency who had hoped and dreamed that the hussein administration would not be as bad as we had feared, then you must consider any actions taken since then as a re-birth... a second coming if you will.

You see, there is a simple axiom that children need to learn, that seldom if ever problems are as bad as they appear before they arrive. We are a people who have learned to fear the unknown far more than we fear the thing right in front of us. So prior to his taking office hussein was a largely unknown entity whose policies appeared to be dangerous and radical, and whose background was seeded with left-wing anti-American sentiment. As adults we tend to believe that once the great scary thing gets here it will not be as bad as we had imagined.

Except that we were NOT wrong in this instance.

Years of watching movies wherein conspiratorial bad guys would plot and scheme to replace world leaders so that they could take control of governments had failed to properly prepare us for the insanity that was unleashed starting with the insulting inaugural invocation, and marches on unrelentingly to this day.

And in that moment of pain, that realization that what we knew no longer applied, and that we conservatives were the underdogs in a grand war for our homes, we dropped back, went underground and started to sort things out for ourselves. And in that process, which was by necessity the pain of our second childbirth... we started the road back.

We do not exist in offices and can not be sought out via the yellow pages. We can exist silently among a den of liberal co-workers and pursue our agenda privately. We are NOT organized by political parties nor are we following the lead of Fox News. We are individual cells of resistance, well-versed in keeping tabs on those who seek to control us and destroy our homes.

We waited, and we became lonely in the dark, and we began to get exhausted and fearful as each new day yielded horrors we never contemplated. Americans pitted against Americans, industries being forced to bow down to hussein the way he bowed down to the Saudi King, threats of crippling and individually targeted taxation as a means of vengeance... all these things went beyond the scope of our original fears. Hell, it's safe to assume our biggest fear was JUST socialized medicine. Now we had to contend with the most historically irresponsible spending bill in world history.

And we needed a turning point. We needed to locate a focus point that would take all of our collective anger and direct it in a positive manner against the brutal regime of president hussein. We needed to step back into the light and to be counted.

And thus was born the Tea Party. The true hero of the past 100 days, and the Eagle to which I refer. The Tea Party, which SHOULD be the third political party and the future home of the Conservative movement, was the young creature born of anti-obama anger.

Many have debated the success of the Tea Parties. Did they change a single law? No. Did they repeal unfair taxation? No. Did they convert the Garafolos of the world? No.

They did something far greater than those deeds. They brought US together. They united American with American, and they demonstrated that Conservatives are people of their word. Did we shake the pillars of the hussein palace? Undoubtedly. Did we receive the only kind of accolades we would ever WANT to get from CNN? Damn straight!

They railed against us, and in so doing the battle lines were laid down, and the gauntlet was flung.

Nothing makes heroes of us all like the lost cause. And being outnumbered and hideously out-financed, we prefer the odds this way. When Arlen Specter turned colors the other day and became Democrat it was seen as a way to strengthen hussein. Our reply, "Good Effin' Riddance!". As a movement we don;'t want him here, and if he makes our enemy stronger, than that only makes our inevitable victory that much sweeter.

In coming out of the darkness and stepping out from behind our computers and laptops did one thing, it made friends and alliances. It took away the fear that was creeping in, that maybe we really WERE just conspiracy theorists who had gone off the deep end in our solitude. It solidified the sense of moral outrage we felt and crystallized our gaze to a razor-sharp focus.

Our enemy, president hussein, leads a philosophically amoral legion of people who, ala Perez Hilton, find Jesus insulting, and who have no time for God. I say this is fine. I say that this is actually preferable.

Because then it can leave only one undeniable conclusion... the one that armies over the centuries have sought for themselves.

God is on our side.

No amount of money, no mass-media spin-doctoring, no "hip-ness" nor adoring magazine covers and sickening posters adulating the man can save him from an army equipped with God on their side.

This is the first 100 Days of the Eagle. God has smiled upon us, and he is our portion and our shield. He guides our aim and he sounds the trumpet as we begin the long and difficult campaign to reclaim our land from heathens.

This is the first 100 Days of the Eagle, and you are the left arm of God.

I'm so very proud of my fellow Americans as I write this. We have stood up and said "No".

Providing Aid and Comfort to the Enemy....

As we near the eponymous 100th day in office for president hussein we look back with a sense of awe and wonder. Here, truly, is a masterful entertainer... a man who has taken that old axiom, "Pain is Comedy" and turned it into a hedonistic expression of life lived to the fullest by quashing the hopes, dreams and desires of the fools stupid enough to put him there in the first place.

Just a skant week or so back he left the nation reeling with the release of the Bush "Torture Memos". You remember those little post-it notes of misery... the ones wherein we waterboarded people for valuable information and stuck them in small, confined places with non-stinging insects.... Yes, that's right... THOSE memos.

hussein went a step further and opened the door for the authors who decided that these non-lethal, non-injury causing methods of interrogation were likely subject to legal action because they have violated the law. They didn't hurt anybody, they intentionally sought to avoid physical damage, and they did their damndest to preclude any laws being broken... so naturally they are criminals. Would that we could speak so well of hussein.

Former Veep Dick Cheney, he who stands so poorly in Hillary Clinton's esteem... argued that this presented a biased view of the memos and that ALL the memos should be released if you are going to do something so insanely asinine as to give valuable information to an active enemy of the state (remember, however, that hussein probably had ACTUALLY READ these memos, and could not hold up under their whithering descriptions, and cracked and gave up the info to Al Qaeda under the stress of Torture Memos...).

Of course since Cheney knows that the WHOLE truth is nothing like a portion of the truth, you can bet your bottom dollar (which after a few more weeks with hussein in charge is all you'll have...) that we'll never See or hear anymore of THOSE memos. Like it or not, Cheney called him on it and the weasel folded. Republicans may have only won a symbolic victory, but wars have turned on far less hope.

So then we have Monday's photo-op flight with back-up Air Force One and two F16s flying around the Statue of Liberty and scaring the feces out of New Yorkers, who scrambled out of their offices and ran for God knows where to avoid the horror of 8 years ago.

And THAT, my Friends, is the single gravest thing Barack Hussein Obama has done to the people of America since taking office. The most egregious, desperate and radical crime he has yet committed.

He broadcast a message to Osama Bin Laden who may or may not be alive, that Americans are STILL terrified of what Al Qaeda had done. That their message STILL RESONATES! Our United States President provided moral support to the most dangerous enemy of the State since Adolf Hitler. He has sent the message that the old wounds are still fresh and that their cut may never go away in this generation.

Fear, anger, frustration, seething resentment... all of those things boiled up in the people of NYC Monday on a warm and pleasant Monday Morning... sending them in a heartbeat of seconds from regular working men and women to scared victims wondering if maybe they won't see their loved ones for supper.

And hussein has the grapes to say (YET AGAIN) that he had no idea. This man has amassed a resume of lack of knowledge of his surroundings when faced with possible scandal that would make H.R. Clinton blush.

Let me be clear here... president hussein violated both Federal Law and his oath of office by providing material support to the declared enemies of the United States of America (with whom we as a nation are at war...) in the form of valuable interrogation techniques and what American limits are, and further in the emboldening of the enemy's moral and spiritual belief that they are still relevant and feared by America.

And no one's gonna do a God Damned Thing About It. Are they?

Just Plane Insensitive...

I have a hard time trying to keep a straight face on these things some days. I just ran across THIS bit of governmental wackiness and man, I don't even know where to begin.

The citizens of New York City are many things, not all of them well-thought of, but one thing that everyone can agree upon, is that they just won't forget that September day some years ago, and it will inform them for years to come.

Now enter the hussein administration with their witless and tactless approach to things, and for some reason they decide it would be just a jim-dandy cracker of an idea to do photo-surveillance of NYC...

Had they NOT invoked the name of NY State jackass senator Chuck Schumer in this piece it might have been tossed off as a minor incident that became blown out of proportion, but the reality is his knowledge and cooperation in this event has chilling implications.

Apart from the very obvious idea that only a fool like Jarjar Binks might think it was a good idea to fly a jet low over NYC, it is dawning on me that there is a very real possibility of your government at work preparing to do something truly deep and dark.

Ive got no proof, just a supposition...

After all, it's not like they expected a secret mission flying a jet low over a city that is prone to not being comfortable with that sort of behavior was going to go unnoticed. They HAD to know it would get noticed.

And it sure as hell didn't happen by accident. You don't notify everyone but the citizenry of your secret mission and then make it spectacularly non-secretive unless of course that was the plan all along.

Call it a primer for things to come.

After all, I had to listen for years about how Bush and Cheney masterminded the attack on the WTC and this was an inside job. I even had to listen for years to the idea that Cheney took out insurance on the WTC buildings... which, of course, is ridiculous, you can't get insurance for something you have no ownership in.

So let's engage in a little paranoia about the current hostile regime in the White House. Let's say that hussein LIKED the amount of power Bush was able to accrue from an attack on the US. Let's say he wants to field test some theories. Maybe he WANTED people to get panicked. After all, this was a PHOTO taking mission of a city that is historically amazingly well documented.

Unless you were looking for something specific you could get similar information from a review of Google Earth. So the motive is not general locational survey, it's something else... and that leads to one of three possibilities that come to my mind in the short term:

1) Let's say that hussein was uncharacteristically doing his job as Commander-in-chief and was acting on a tip from the intelligence community that someone had nuclear bomb components, and the government dispatched one of their spook planes to use sensitive technology to really get a good understanding of where and how much.

2) Something NEW is in the city... maybe the Cloverfield monster, I don't know... and they are searching for it as fast as they can before it can avoid paying its share of the excessively high NYC taxes.

3) hussein wants to gauge the level of panic that a low flying and likely unmarked jet plane over NYC would generate in advance of some sinister plot.

The first idea pre-supposes that protecting Americans is part of hussein's agenda. Would that anything since his pastor insulted whites everywhere during the inauguration invocation had proven that were the case. His legacy to date is one of destruction and chaos, with no proven successes and a significant sense of betrayal of trust.

The second idea is visually more interesting, but unlikely, even by my standards.

That leaves the third idea. The one that plays so well off all the conspiracy theories that liberals and democrats have been shoving down our throats since September 11th at 1:15 PM, 2001. The idea that a sitting US President would knowingly throw something so frightening to so many Americans into their daily lives.

Think the next president will release THAT memo of this regime's torture? And torture it amounts to. Re-read the CNN piece I linked to and see if this is any different that what Bush authorized to use against high level detainees.

And the most traumatic and tragic aspect of the low-flying plane and the callous insensitivity of it all, is that this happens IMMEDIATELY after the White House, with hussein in it, was evacuated this past week-end because of... wait for it... a small passenger plane that flew off course and entered DC airspace.

Difference is, hussein knew what he was doing when he sent that plane over NYC.

(UPDATED: just found this YouTube! clip showing panicked New Yorkers running in fear as a large jet closely followed by an air force jet rumbles too low overhead. I don't blame these people.

I will admit my paranoia piece is probably off the mark, and it's likely that they were legitimately shooting pretty pictures of each other, but for cripes sake, haven't they ever heard of Photoshop?)

I'm a few days lagging on this one due to the combined impact of a family wedding and a Saturday lifted directly from a 1970s Irwin Allen disaster movie. On the bright side, I finally went to a wedding reception where nobody fought and everyone had fun, no one was a jerk, and I got to dance without insult.

But back to work now...

I may be wrong on the origins of this, but as I understand it, the Credit Card companies, sensing they were close to being targeted for governmental intervention, made appointments with mid-level government offices to come to Washington and assure the hussein camp that all was well in their front yards. No need to get all concerned with the credit card business.

Then, and again, this is as I understand it, the Lucy and Ethel of politics, president hussein and that Gaitner thing, invited themselves to the meeting. If anyone knows the story better than me, please feel free to inform me, but this was the version I heard, but can't recall from where... You WILL be credited.

So this mid-level meeting gets hijacked by a well dressed Somali pirate and what do you think, he's not happy with the credit card companies. He wants to re-shape them. You can read some of the story here.

First and foremost, I am the FIRST person to say how much I loathe credit card companies. They are essentially legalized Yakuza with payment minimums designed to keep you paying until thirty years after you've died. Federal intervention in their case is a good thing. With the type of debt that can be run up on a credit card you can pretty much destroy your ability to live a normal life.

Getting the opportunity to replace my 24.99% Visa loan rate card with a 4% loan from the owner of the company I work for ( a loan with a definite pay-off date...) means that I am now looking at a significant increase in access to my own income in another two and a half years. Compare that to a debt that grows just because you're paying the minimum and you can see the obvious benefits.

But do I necessarily want hussein to be the one to tackle this problem? No.

As much as I want to see Visa rot in hell, I am not really interested in vengeance. I just want to be free of them. And then to tell young couples, ala the House of the Rising Sun, not to do what I have done. I want positive change.

And I don't trust hussein to bring about that positive change... I trust him to ruthlessly usurp these very large companies and strip them of their powers and install puppet CEOs who will be answerable to ... I dunno... a "Credit Card Czar" or something. I nominate Wilma Flintstone for that post (I should offer a prize to whomever is capable of identifying that reference...).

Because we have a common enemy does NOT imply that I support hussein. When my boss began to ask me about my financial situation and I laid out a steady road that put me... about six months from no idea how to make my payments anymore, he asked me why I hadn't come to him before. I was very straightforward in my reply... "You're a millionaire", I said. He got a bit uncomfortable and tried to minimize his wealth. "No, I'm not winding you up, I'm being honest. You're a millionaire." He finally agreed.

"You started a small office in the late 1980s and worked your fingers to the bone building up a very large and successful business, you employ a large number of people at least by my standards, and you probably have people coming up to you all the time with their hand out.".

He didn't confirm or deny, which pretty much told me I was right. I continued, "You earned your money. You can do with it whatever you want. You pay my salary so I can do the job I do, and that's the only realistic interest I have in your money. You don't owe me anything just because you're successful. And after many years of surviving on the generosity of others I feel obligated to cover my debts personally.".

This is in reality a near ver batim of the conversation. This was one man to another espousing a philosophy of conservatism.

He later presented me with an offer and we came to a mutual agreement. I then paid off and cut up my credit card. Best weight-loss program I ever had.

But hussein isn't going to approach this with a conservative's eye. He's going to approach this with vengeance in mind. That's how he's handled everything so far. He's pitted American against American over monetary issues, he's putting banks through "stress tests" he's castrating the auto industry, and he's selling out the Israelis to appease his Muslim brethren.

So in a war between the devil you know and the devil who hides his origins, I trust the credit card companies a whole hell of a lot more. They're in it for the money... I can understand that sentiment, even as I seek to distance myself from it. The deceptive one, however, is in it for dodgier, more disturbing reasons of his own, and as much as there might be a momentary "feel good" quality for a lot of people to push back on the credit card companies, the long-term results will be a disaster. They have no choice. Anytime you remove a free market business from its free market practices and start instilling non-business oriented rules to the code of conduct, you basically ruin that business.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I was given a chance to get out of significant and crushing debt and am now paying off on a fixed and realistic schedule a more manageable debt. In the end, the credit card company got a hell of a lot of money from me, so they were not victimized by my leaving them. That was in the contract too. And me, I'm a good bit more savvy about credit cards than I was before.

So I contributed to the economy for a long time, and now do credit on very short-term deals only, and I set fixed pay-off dates on most of those. I have learned to make double-payments where possible, and to guard against too many small loans.

Every once in a while I "rest" bits of entertainment. Instead of just listening ad nauseum to the same music over and over I compartmentalize and set aside some music so that at a later date I can get back into it with something resembling freshness.

Honestly, it even makes Andy Gibb work for me some times...

So yesterday I chose to listen to the soundtrack to an old favorite film, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".

Taken on its own merits, RHPS is essentially a very traditional old-fashioned horror story jazzed up with a pretty catchy if occassionally unintelligible set of lyrics. No, I can figure our what they are saying, it's just that in some of the songs the words don't actually string to gether to form a coherant thought.

Young Brad and Janet, a white-bread mid-western couple of fresh-faced kids who have just become engaged are driving late one night in a thunderstorm and listening to Nixon on the radio in the dark twilight days of his presidency. Flat tire, songs, strange castle, and before you know it they find themselves in a topsy-turvy world that alters their perceptions of themselves, their narrow view of what sex can be, and how a massive power struggle for control exists between the old world, personified by a 1950's styled scientific community posited by their wheelchair-bound kindly former Science teacher, Dr. Scott, and the bizarre and quite literally alien world that seeks to dominate mankind and abuse rules of life previously the domain of God, as personified by Dr. Frank N. Furter.

Did I mention that the songs are pretty smokin'?

As I relived some fond earlier days of my life... less politicized times welled up in me and for a brief time I started to enjoy my car ride into work.

Then I realized that there are striking similarities to Castle Frank N. Furter and the White House.

Middle America is being condescendingly toyed with for having provincial views of sexual relations that don't include the perversity of same-sex relationships, and transgender exhibition. We are being taunted for having the Audacity of Faith to believe in a God who clearly doesn't care for All Americans. In fact, those that toy with us have their own religion, and it serves men of no discernible moral code other than the subjugation of normalcy.

Obama, as a "transformative" president, is nothing so much as Dr. Frank N. Furter.... he is sexy and cool, and building something not at all right.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are the hedonistically inclined sexually attracted brother and sister servants who seethe at the unbridled power their foppish boss has, power which by right of greed should have been theirs.

Dr. Scott is the administrations view of Dick Cheney, who seems to be the spokesman for the previous administration, now hobbled and subject to alien control, but fighting it all he can.

Of course Meatloaf's character, Eddie, the troubled and dangerously unstable Rock-N-Roll boyfriend who used to be Frank's lover is a metaphor for Capitalism... formerly powerful and self-motivated, just as he received an inkling of responsibility to try to stop a madman the madman had him chopped up and served for dinner.

In a way, tap-dancing Columbia stands out as Israel... she SHOULD be an ally, she SHOULD be on Frank's side... after all she is in his company, but she loved Eddie, and now she is pretty much targeted as the first one to be lined up against the wall when the revolution comes, and shot (how's THAT for a mixed media metaphor?). Frank can't stand her because she and he both had Eddie as a lover.

Of course the party goers are congress and the house, a weird and Barney Frank-level set of aliens trying to dress and sound like humans but not quite passing muster.

So as America is portrayed as the virginal children, ready to either be seduced into a grander level of sexual realms or be crushed by the weirdness of it all, we are given only two choices, submit or embrace. The choice to not join in on this brave new world of hedonism seems to be anathema to the process.

And as in the harsh and all-too real world, the consequences of Frank N. Furter's selfish and lusty desires is traumatic to everyone, and after he gets offed by his underlings and Brad, Janet and Dr. Scott are left crawling on the scorched, useless Earth where once a castle stood, trying to figure out where we go from there... our future is similarly disheveled and somehow the idea of going back to where we once were seems impossible.

So....

Recently the embattled president of Pakistan, trying to appease his anti-American populace, his American partners, and his growing incursion of distaff Taliban, exiled eight years ago from Afghanistan, allowed the Taliban to impose their particular hard-core version of Sharia law (albeit with a few token modifications which it can be assumed are being roundly ignored by the Taliban....) in a Northwestern Province of Pakistan that was formerly revered as a tranquil and energetic holiday spot for both foreign and domestic vacationers. The Taliban, it was felt, would ease up if they were given a place to settle and call their own.

Which, of course, is idiotic.

The Taliban, a brutal and repressive regime which has destroyed priceless and, frankly marvellous works of art that were over a thousand years old, who have sought to peel back any advantages of Western civilization in favor of the warm, fuzzy life of cave-dwelling, enforced facial hair growth for men, enforced covering of heads for women, enforced... well... enforced just about everything, were expected to settle down, put their feet up and say "boy, we finally won. These Pakistani's are awfully nice. Let's not be mean to them anymore.".

Except they didn't do that. It's not in their nature. They don't have a point where they will feel they have been given enough leeway, they are not looking for just enough respect that they can stop their violence... They only accept one way... their way... of dong things, and that is through brutal oppression and subjugation.

To be fair to the Pakistani leadership, their situation is not all that pleasant. The Taliban are in their own backyard, the citizenship is torn between not wanting violence, but not wanting to be helpful to the Americans, and the Americans are pressuring them constantly to do their part to stop the Taliban, who appear to have a military edge with inroads into the Pakistani military going all the way into their intelligence community.

This has hardly been a decisive moment in Pakistani history. Hard, yes... but that's what leadership is all about. Making the hard decisions and staying with them. If the Pakistanis had agreed to take on the Taliban at the border we could have caught them in a significant squeeze and all the Pakistani's would have to do is prevent them from having a backdoor to escape out of so we could tighten the noose.

That ship has now sailed... the Taliban HAVE escaped, and enjoy Pakistani protection, now officially sanctioned by deeding over the land and the people of the Swat Valley to the Taliban.

If only their had been SOME clue from history how appeasing ones enemies might play out?

Torture and the Party-line ethic...

president hussein's recent and blatantly partisan move to release a hand-ful of memos from the Bush Administration regarding torture techniques has caused a tremendous amount of debate. Even within the hussein camp there is some disagreement on the relevance of the use of these techniques as noted in this CNN.com news article.

hussein has chosen this to be his "high horse" and he believes he is so high in the saddle now that no one could possibly see anything wrong. America, after all, stands for taking the high road and having better values than the rest of the world.... even though that position is at odds with where he is taking us, and indeed, how he has described us to the rest of the world.

To be sure we like to believe we are above the use of questionable tactics when engaging our enemies. It's a bit of a spit-and-polish job to imagine ourselves wearing the white hat, being the good cowboy in war. But the reality is that this WAS a wartime decision. A wartime decision from a war that Bush wisely noted we can not win in this generation.

And therein lies the split. The party-line ethic, if you will.

Our intelligence community has known for a great many years that there were organizations and countries who want nothing more than to destroy the United States. These are enemies who plot and conspire against us because our methods work. We live in peace and with freedom. You can't have that, it upsets their efforts to control, ruthlessly, their own people. After all, if Americans can live happily and in peace why can't others?

And yes, I AM considering the piece form a few days ago about Jackie Chan.

President George W. Bush understood that this was not an enemy who fought based on a physical issue, say, territorial dispute or some other traditional reason for war. This was an enemy for whom there could not be negotiations. When you hate someone because they are offensive to you on a religious ground then your God will not change his mind when the enemy apologizes to you. You'll still hate them, and you'll still want to kill them.

Therefore President Bush was forced to research the law to see what limits there were interrogation techniques. In fact, the initial uproar came with hussein releasing notes showing that Bush had, in fact, asked his lawyers to do just that.

If we were going to go up against an enemy not constrained by the rules of the Geneva Convention we needed to know how far was too far.

And honestly, in a brilliant move, Bush hit upon the right version. Knowing that we were not fighting an enemy with borders, an enemy fighting to protect their homeland, and therefore not only bound by the Geneva Convention, but legitimately deserving of all those protections (for instance, the Iraqi soldiers....) he chose to classify the Al Qaeda as a non-enemy combatant.

In other words, if you won't play by internationally recognized rules of warfare, you will not be granted the rights associated with them, and your fate is in your hands if you choose to go up against the US. So normal boundaries of interrogation were shifted.

They were NOT abolished.

The techniques employed still met a definition of humanitarian conditions. Much was made of the use of non-lethal insects to obtain information from the highest level Al Qaeda operative in US custody. How horrible for us that even though this guy wanted nothing more than to kill as many Americans as possible he was still given protections he would NOT afford an American under the same conditions.

Or don't you recall the taped and broadcast beheadings of captured Americans.

president hussein is adopting a dangerously naive attitude that our enemies have a right, a mandate from the masses, if you will, to hate us. And therefore the answer lies in appeasing them. Clearly they wouldn't have held Americans hostage and paraded them in front of cameras, showing their brutality and then publicly beheading them if we had only said "I'm sorry" earlier.

And most importantly, hussein is tying his handling of this issue of "torture" to a mandate to not have a fundamental split down party lines that could hamper the effectiveness of his government. Huh?

He controls with broad margins the House, The Senate, and the Media. He could decide to nuke Nebraska and he'd get a pass for it, and maybe a mild tongue-lashing from CNN. What does he care about party line ethos?

I'm guessing more than he wants us to know.

hussein was elected as a different leader who crossed party lines and brought everyone together. So far he's brought our enemies together and is making moves to alienate the Conservative Right. And now the Conservative Right is starting to unite together, and to his amazement, not on his side.

What really bothered me while scanning this news article found on Yahoo! about an American terrorist being added to the FBI's Most Wanted list was not that they had chosen to target an American.... it is, after all, the FBI and not the CIA... it's the urgency and "look at us!!!! Look at us!!!! We're being fair here!!!" attitude.

What am I babbling about?

Well, just two weeks after the Dept. of Homeland Security issued copies of Right Wing Extremism reports to the law enforcement firms around the United States and fell under intense pressure, even being cited by both Democrat and Republican Senators for what is at best a shoddy and near Garafolo-like compost heap of unfounded accusations, the FBI not only opted to make AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, as they boldly point out, and a LEFT-WING TERRORIST as they wanted damn certain to make sure you'd pick up on it, a member of the FBI's mile-high club.

This administration is almost painfully trying to be seen as fair and equal in its treatment of Americans, even going so far as to tout it as a good thing that we still can be assured that left wing people are still capable of committing crimes.

Anyone who has paid attention to the media for the past six months is already very familiar with this concept.

Do I really care of this guy is on the list? Not per se... he's a bomber with a greater love of animals than he has for humans, and his use of anarchy to spread his message makes him perfect fodder for the hussein version of Craig'sList.

I'm really more interested in the crude manner in which the FBI wants everyone to know that gosh golly gee whiz, they're not unfair to Americans. They'll arrest anyone. Honest.

I'm expecting now to hear that they will be secretly eavesdropping on Bruce Springsteen concerts just to make sure Tea Partiers are convinced that this is just normal behavior.

Jackie Chan's comments not so strange if you think about it...

Chinese actor Jackie Chan, perhaps the friendliest face to Western eyes from a country which prizes obedience and group effort over individual achievement, has come under a good deal of fire for his comments at a recent Chinese Business forum.

Known for portraying largely upstanding citizens who find themselves in larger situations and finding the courage to go outside the box to combat evil, he has developed a film career un-equaled in cinema history. His initial goal, to be seen as something other than just a Bruce Lee clone, gave him fuel to pursue the blending of comedy and his particularly enhanced physical acrobatic skills which has propelled him way past the achievement of any western actor's standing. His biggest failing as an actor is a slightly weak dramatic acting capacity, which has tended to push his parts toward comedy.

After a relatively disastrous attempt to break into western cinema in the early 80s when Hollywood had no idea what to do with him (imagine pairing him with Danny Aiello as an action partner.... enough to make you leave Hollywood forever....) he came back again in the tail end of the 1990s to much greater acclaim, some modest success (compared to what might have happened had he had greater control over his destiny here...) and then finally in the last few years he saw the limitations and disasters of working in Hollywood, and returned to Hong Kong and Chinese Cinema vowing never to make any permanent change to appease western audiences again.

Blame Chris Tucker, who forced Jackie to follow thru on Rush Hour 3, which was a slap in the face to him artistically, and on a personal level. Jackie did the job and to his credit what little screen time he had he kept a solid front up for, but it was clear that sub-standard Chris Tucker, whose own career would have been significantly lessened had he not fallen into the first Rush Hour, was the person in control.

Which brings us to the present day. Jackie does not particularly want his films re dubbed for western distribution, and he wants to finish out his career primarily serving Chinese cinema.

The only person who was treated worse in recent years was Jackie's good friend and fellow school-chum ( a phrase which means significantly much more to Chinese actors than it does to western actors.... Chinese Opera School life is akin to having eight year old boys put through the Navy Seals training, and then for a graduating thesis mastering Cirque Du Soleil.... ) Sammo Hung, whose physical girth masks an agility and capability every bit the equal of Jackie's.

Sammo had his own CBS TV series, where his phonetic English was reasonably well handled as he took time and effort to learn the language, only to find his first season cliff-hanger of a traditionally intriguing police crime-drama typical of Hong Kong Cinema being ignored so he could return to the second season with.... wait for it... Arsenio Hall as his hip and jive-talking partner, doing his best Chris Tucker impression.

Ratings plummeted and Sammo got out of Hollywood faster than you could say "stupid Americans".

So it's really not unexpected that Jackie's attitude toward our level of freedom is what it is. Even though he had the opportunity to live among us, work among us, and do the things that we value as free men and women, he was mistreated, badly showcased, and used for the financial gain of the studios and even professed friends. It's a good bet that Chris Tucker ruined a promising start to a second career in the US for the highest rated actor in much of the rest of the world.

Hollywood can do that to people. It can bring out the worst in them, and make them screw people over. From Joan Crawford to Janeane Garafolo, appearing on film seems to give people lease to be assholes out there, and controlling those people makes studio executives the toilet paper of the toilets of the cinema industry.

Now as it happens, I work for a Chinese-born man who built a company up in North America from a small office to a series of offices and warehouses around the world. As a boss he can be quite harsh with the largely Chinese staff of his Toronto office, and honestly, as much as they detest it it, they seem to accept it as part of their community. He knows enough not to get too harsh with his employees from the West as we would not accept many of the things he demands of his own people.

I, for instance, have managed to learn enough of the man, and said as much to his face, that I understood when he would yell at me, which happens from time to time, that it was not a personal thing so much as an urge to dispense with pleasantries and finish a subject. Once I understood that relations between him and I... I won't say they blossomed, but things became better.

I asked my boss a few months ago a question that plagues me to this day. As a self-made man in our world, who understands the value of personal achievement, who understands that he has to earn every dollar he makes, and has in true Reagan-era free-market manner become an employer of a pretty decent number of people, how was it that he had not only no problem with Barack Obama becoming president given his desire to tax the rich at greater levels and remove freedoms for most Americans.

His answer came from his perspective on America. His information about the US comes not so much from working with us or selling to us, but from reading about us and listening to BBC world news. He favored America's new president, saying that control was what Americans needed most.

He considers the control that the Chinese Government has over its own people far superior to the free society we have here in the west.

He has his own reasons for wanting to see the US economy weakened, and the US dollar's value diminished, especially against Chinese currency. When you live in Canada and pay your factory in China with US funds it's preferable to have the US dollar weaker than the Canadian dollar... which currently it is not. The US Dollar is on average lately worth about $1.25 CDN.

I do not think my boss is evil, or that his reasons for wanting what he wants are wrong. To do so would be to be ignorant that there are any other viewpoints in the world beside my own. He has been very generous to me, given me second chances that honestly I did not deserve, helped me in situations he had no cause to, and opened up to me about some of his private life which he shields from others.

I have learned in life that so long as I take someone's paycheck I am charged with advancing their agenda. And he has little real impact upon the US economy, as our company sells apparel to one sector of the business only, and not at volumes that shake any foundations. Hell, president hussein himself probably wouldn't want to take control of our company.

I have found it an interesting and rewarding lesson in other cultures, and while I do not share their agenda or goal, I have come to learn some important things about the Chinese. We are alien to them, and they are alien to us.

Jackie Chan has experienced the same sort of thing with the Western world. He came away from America seeing its worst side, while at the same time being toasted everywhere he went as a great ambassador. But while you can force him to follow up on a contractual agreement to make an ill-conceived movie with Chris Tucker, you can not take the man's appreciation for his culture away.

I am NOT advocating a change to Eastern culture. I am NOT advocating a switch to socialism or looking favorably upon Chinese influence. I still feel there is much to be concerned about as they spy on us, challenge us and keep us at an arm's length. What I do understand, and I believe it's worth knowing, is that you CAN work with the Chinese, but you need to know they will never be like us.

A bit late, but my thoughts on Wednesday's Tea Party in Buffalo, NY...

I actually held off on doing this for a few days intentionally. I wanted it to be more practical and less emotional. Less.... limbic, if you will.

First, let me say that I am not an active political member. I've never attended any rally that my high school didn't force me to go to, and I've never openly demonstrated for or against any cause before. I was NOT contacted by ANY organization. I found out about these parties and I sought out the nearest one to me. There was no hint that the movement sprouted from any centralized figure or organization, nor was it directed in favor of any political party.

As a legitimate grass-roots movement, Private views being espoused by my fellow demonstrators were diverse and clearly as upset with excess on the Republican side as with the same on the Democrat side. In fact there was a call to form a new political party, the Common Sense party... locally.

When I arrived at the gathering about 20 minutes early there were only a handful of people milling about. Having a natural hesitation when dealing with people in Buffalo at public functions (usually finding them to be loutish, selfish and many times drunk....0 I was pleasantly surprised to find a broad range of types who were all here to promote the common goal of responsible use of taxpayer money.

There was the somewhat scared mid-40s woman whose sister was a co-organizer, who just wanted to express her frustration at how her life has been turned around, there was the guy who works in a company supplying parts for spacecraft manufacture, who not only showed up in a Colonial outfit and brandishing a "Don't Tread on Me" flag (my favorite American flag to date...) but he loaned me his Nikon when I found my son had drained the batteries of our digital camera.

When he sends me the images I'll be certain to post them.

There was a guy with a biker look with a "Don't Tread On Me" tattoo on his arm who compared his snake to the one on the flag and said his was bigger. I replied that "I hear that a lot myself...". which helped lighten the air somewhat. There were a couple of older gentlemen who appeared to be retired auto-industry types, although I did not confirm that with them. Then another man in a more authentic colonial outfit arrived, unrelated to the first, and they decided to form a team.

Gradually the crowd grew in size and by the time Channel 7 news began to cover the event we had approximately 300 people.

Not enough to satisfy Janeane Garafolo, but for Buffalo, NY that's pretty impressive.

For the record, as the Blond reporter first starts to speak the guy behind her with the black and grey jacket is me.

Everyone was respectful, emotionally invested in the message, offered solid and useful commentary and encouragement, and not one of them mentioned hating anybody. We just want our money spent wisely.

I had planned on making a placard that read "President Hussein apologizes for the US, I Do Not" but I opted not to, as I wanted to keep the Tea Party message on track. The co-organizer, Laurie, thanked me for the restraint and reminded me that there were many different issues going on but that this was specifically a tax-related one.

I kind of feel like the Anti-Michelle, here, because this was the first time I actually enjoyed and was positively motivated by my fellow Western New Yorkers. Maybe open-air concerts aren't the best places to see the real side of people. Ich bin ein Buffalonian.

I was tempted to take the mike when the emcee was asking if anyone else wanted to speak, and you all know I can goon for a while ranting, but I felt I should hold my tongue for the moment.

After all, with the success of this party, I'm sure I'll be heard at the next one.

I am reasonably convinced that there are a great many pampered and radically leftist America-Haters in Hollywood. They tend to be tempered by people like Clint Eastwood, the late Ron Silver, and other talented people who have held their heads high and kept the tradition of acting from being completely spat upon.

It is a tragedy of epic proportions that the left felt it was time to unlock the filthy cage they keep Janeane Garafolo locked up in so that she could go out and bravely rant incoherently about the Right Wing movement to prevent the destruction of America.

I would have much rather had an intelligent-sounding, or even attractive rival to go up against. More sanity exists in Tom Cruise on an Oprah-fueled high, or in the Dixie Chicks as they shed their clothes for the cover of Entertainment Weekly, or from Tina Fey who at least can be funny when they tell her she's supposed to be...

But JG? No... she's an unattractive, unfunny, talentless bottom-sucker who has managed to parlay a friendship with Ben Stiller into a life of being pampered, over-paid and thinking she is somehow better or smarter than other people. Sort of like a less talented Whoopi Goldberg.

In order to make herself sound smarter she babbles about "The Limbic Mind", which in lay men's terms, is the more instinctual responses that first are generated by a perception before the later, more educated response kicks in. It's not an entirely unusable concept, however it's also a concept that is widely debated in psychiatric circles. To give you a more physical example, the limbic mind would at first see a shiny apple and jump to the conclusion it was tasty and desirable. The more educated response that would then follow would be the concern that the apple must first be washed to rid it of pesticides, etc... You see? She's talking about the initial emotional response.

But for the holier-than-thou JG, we Conservative playthings of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, Rush Limbaugh et al... never reach the liberal concept of rational thought, but are stuck forever in limbic thought.

So, in keeping with the liberal playbook, she is demonstrating her beneficence for us by doing our thinking for us.

And what thinking does she attribute to us?

Racism of course.

She's above that. She would never be racist. The idea is alien and abhorrent to the holier-than-thou Janeane Garafolo, mistress of the unwashed and honorable poster woman for the plain-looking.

So you'd never hear her utter any racist comments of her own... I mean you'd certainly never hear her say anything like "... but these people, all white, most of them, unless there are some people with Stockholm Syndrome.... ".

Gawd almighty, couldn't they have sent us Susan Sarandon? Cripes, at least she believes her own crap.

JG reads her script and doesn't bother to worry if the words string together in a meaningful manner. She knows to hit her touchstones, names of Right-leaning journalists, she knows to be derisive at all the right parts and she... ummm. now what's her motivation supposed to be again when she brings up Fox news?

Did you notice how, just like in the DHS report, it was brought up that no laws were broken, but boy there sure could have been! And THAT's a shame.

I have to apologize. I've been resorting to a certain amount of character-assassination in this rant, which I like to think is out of character for me. I try to limit my charges of personal lapses to the decision-making abilities of those people who have stolen our highest governmental offices. JG is neither a politician, a policy-maker, nor is she a particularly strong voice. She's a ratings grabber. She's a consistent shrill voice that can be pulled out of her dungeon every once in awhile secure in the fact that her dribbling phrases will elicit a suitably left-wing chord of sympathy.

But she's kind of fun to make fun of. I guess it's that condescending manner in which she relegates anyone who isn't on her side as subhuman and hive-minded. It takes away the appeal to use restraint and considerate action when responding to her, and gives us license to just go ahead and call her the unwashed skank whore of the liberal party.

In all due respect, if there are any unwashed skank whores who are not liberals, I clearly and humbly submit my apologies. I did not wish to associate you with someone so clearly capable of lowering your status in life further.

And if you ARE one of the unwashed skank whores of the liberal party and you ARE offended, then congratulations, you got the point.

DHS Report on Extremism long on extreme and short on report....

After the initial furor a few days ago about the release of a Government report on Right Wing extremism, fueled in no small part by Rush Limbaugh's segment about this, I felt it would be wise to see what was actually in the report. After all, it's easy to criticize and comment on something you have never seen, and the definition of the Conservative is the person who chooses to do for themselves and not to follow the pack (actually that's only one definition, and it's buried down three quarters of the way on the somewhat lengthy list of definitions....).

After doing some looking around I found the actual document readily available over at WIKILEAKS, which, it seems, might become a valuable site to visit more often. Time will tell. I went ahead and downloaded the relatively small PDF file and sat down to breeze through the document.

The first and most glaring thing that comes across is the American Recovery and Re-investment Act - sized vagueness of the report. This is not an internal memo from the DHS to, say, the President of the United States, wherein you might figure that a certain amount of short-hand could be used. After all, I do not bother when chatting with a co-worker to define in detail aspects of the product we work with, I expect them to know (my being perennially let down on this count notwithstanding...). No, this report is expected and says so to be distributed across the country to law enforcement officials as a guideline for dealing with Right Wing Extremists.

But it can't be bothered to define what Right Wing Extremism means. This is likely the single largest complaint in the entire document. It has NO UNDERSTANDING of its subject, and by refusing to declare the parameters opens itself up to Robin Williams-esque interpretative levels. This is why those that DID read it earlier in the week were quick to point out that regular everyday citizens doing the job of regular everyday questioning our beneficent and all-giving overlord, could easily be interpreted as Right Wing Extremists. Because of lack of definition.

The next thing is the magnificently questionable manner in which the authors decide that this decade is very similar to the 1990s, and use the economy as an example.

WHAAAAAAT?

Maybe I was in the wrong decade.... I seem to recall our problems lately having been the result of 25 years of Reagan-Era economics grinding to a halt in the span of a two year period immediately following the Democrats' taking control of the House and Congress. Clinton enjoyed a prosperous era fueled by two preceding presidents who actively sought to encourage free market values. His biggest concerns, apart from the re-usability of a blue dress and his good 'ol boy attitude toward things, was how the hell he was gonna get laid tomorrow night without the Ice Queen finding out.

This decade is just a little different in pretty much every single respect.

The next problem with this report is one that keeps coming up, and it keeps coming up on the side of the Left, not the right.

RACISM!

I'm not about to sanctify all Conservatives as completely disinterested in racial aspects, but seriously, I have yet to hear a single person object to hussein's skin color. Except for the Liberal Left, who spent much of the campaign last summer wringing their hands in fear that the Right would refuse to vote for a black (mulatto) man. The Left are the ones who have been vocally making the associations. And in fact while strenuously denying that race was a factor in the election all along, which the Right was, frankly, getting annoyed with hearing repeated ad nauseum as if we were campaigning on a racial platform.... it was the Left that began going on at length about the Historic nature of the presidency from Election day on through to this report.

Those guys are more scared of having a negro in office than we are.

Umm... was I not supposed to use that word?

The report then goes on to blame pending and restrictive gun-control as a reason for alarm that extremism may be rising. They cite the increase in purchases of guns for this. The fact that that is a free market model... a product on the marketplace is about to become scarce so people want to get their hands on it while it's still there. Intent is a whole lot different than procurement... or another way to put it would be... "Guns don't kill people, but we still have the constitutional right to bear arms.".

Anti-Semitic behavior is thrown in the mix as well. To be sure "blame the Jews" can be said to have been the prevailing sentiment at one time, but largely speaking that time was 1930s Germany. The only person currently displaying a public dislike for Jews in the United States is our president, who is distancing himself from Israel like a former lover finding out their partner has just been diagnosed with AIDS.

So once again, the authors are projecting their own Leftists fears into the report.

The historical election. I know,I already mentioned it, but so does the report. It continues to harp on the subject giving it far more credence than the Right does.

Illegal Immigration - Apart from the fact that that phrase has no legitimate meaning in the real world... you can not be an immigrant if you came here illegally... that just makes you an illegal alien... this may be the closest to resembling accuracy the report gets. But sincerely afraid of being portrayed as something less than spastically alarmist the report enjoyably goes on to spout it's most asinine phrase....

"Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy
generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment,
but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed
against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent."

In other words, if you specifically do not like the flow of Mexicans, for example, into the US illegally, you risk illegal speak. Your rights as an American become are protected so long as you follow the report's path of massive vagueness.

I'm loving that the DHS is now empowered with determining that some speech is legal and some is not. Because I advocate tossing squatters out of the country does not mean I am going out into the street to burn down their government-bought homes... it just means I advocate tossing the bums out of the country. But I suppose I'm threatening to turn violent just now... or maybe I'll go read the gas meter like my wife just asked me to.

The political and social rise of other countries - This is an interesting one. There is a legitimate fear of the influence of foreign powers usurping control of the United States. We MIGHT feel a little better if we didn't serve under the yoke of a president who is handing those powers the reins to the country, but again, we see this as a political solution. No need to go shooting up a Taco Bell when we can just vote the idiots out of office. It';s cheaper and involves less jail time.

Disgruntled military vets - ummm... whatever. This one's been pretty well parsed already.

So in conclusion, the report goes way out of its way to give reasons for most Americans to be upset with the government, makes vague and ill-considered logical conclusions without benefit of context, It identifies with anything resembling specificity a grand total of 11 people involved in "Right Wing Extremism" over the past twenty some years, seeks to tarnish anybody who is concerned with the country's freedom as a potential source of concern, and ignores that many of the issues raised are in fact the same kinds of issues that generated the Constitution of the United States of America. Except for that negro president thing...

Oh yeah, and it also touched briefly on religion, but relegated it to "end-time" mythology, so it could just be referring to the Mayan calendar, which suggests hussein will be our president at the end of the world.

I attended the Buffalo, NY Tea Party this afternoon and was very pleased. I'll have more on that later. But just now I wanted to discuss THIS little gem found just now on CNN.com... I direct you to the very last segment....

In an article designed to speak about how people have grown to not trust their government over the very real fears generated by spending a ginormous amount of money without any of the transparency we were promised, we find out at the end that president hussein has indeed taken notice of us, and has indeed made a plan.

Apart from doing the traditional Liberal agenda of identifying their enemy with someone the enemy doesn't like (in this case, claiming we were organized by the old-guard Republican leaders... a falsity matched in it's gall by the fervor in which Tea-Party goers have denounced those same Republicans... ) the Faustian Prince of Darkness is going to set about reminding americans of how he DID cut your taxes...

Which, of course... is wrong.

He lowered your withholding.

You'll still owe the same amount at the end of this year. Only now you may not get a refund and you may actually have to pay them more than you did during the course of the year.

But with hussein it's never about facts, it's about feelings.

In this instance he is relatively powerless. He likes to think he can get us upset by labeling us "Right Wing Extremists" but only hard-line ObamaZombies would even swallow that concept. He wants to show us just how generous he has been with our own payrolls, but many people are starting to realize this is NOT the case.

It'd be fun to see Barney Frank stammer out that he's going to punish American Citizens who participated in these events by handing them crippling 90%% taxation.

Just think of the chaos that would erupt under THOSE terms.

It's sad and a bit maddening to think that we have a real honest-to-God moustache-twirling villain sitting in his throne at the White House, but it's also a bit freeing. So far his responses to everything he has encountered have been wrong. Not really a great deal has been right. So it's actually easy and understandable to go against him and to accept the epithet "Right Wing Extremist" as a compliment, not an insult.

I think I'm gonna sew a scarlet "RWE" on my shirt.

God bless president hussein, he truly is america's president. He manages to keep all of us under his protective umbrella, and is happy to acknowledge us as his busy schedule permits.

Imagine how happy I was to find out that without having violated any law, and abusing only a modicum of good taste (depending more or less upon your feelings about the liberal application of the word "retards" when describing democrats....) , my status as conservative blogger has labeled me a radical in the eyes of the Department of Homeland Security.

Now remember that the DHS was formed in the wake of the brutal attacks on the United States of America from radical Islamo-fascists who hate everything there is about America that is worth protecting. These are people who are committed to killing Americans in as gruesome and as voluminous a manner as possible. The DHS was designed to coordinate and prevent against plots against America from both within and without.

The fact that you and I are offended is actually kind of the point that hussein would do this. He WANTS to agitate us and get us angry, especially in advance of the Tea Parties.

It's very important that we, as conservatives and true patriots of the United States of America stand up for our beliefs and calmly and in an orderly manner demonstrate about how excess government has spent our money without our consent and and forced legislation that violates laws left, right and center.

We do not go and overturn cars, we do not beat people up for their beliefs, we do not hate hussein because he has mulatto blood...

Because those are the things that hussein and his cronies want those of us who do not read blogs or follow the news with any regular effort, to believe.

hussein wants americans to think that conservatives are this offensive group of racists who are anxious to destroy the status quo and topple the government.

Or in layman's terms, he wants americans to think that conservatives are liberals.

Tomorrow's Tea Partys are going to be watched very closely... if not by the media, then certainly by the democrats. You can bet your sweet hinder that hussein is not happy with demonstrations against his policies are going on in his own country (sic). Still, he has not found a regulation that would lawfully pass that allows him to outlaw people peacefully demonstrating.

So get out, open your yaps and tell the world what they need to hear. Tomorrow is the front line for the war to take back our country from this interloper and restore sanity to government.

Always the rebel, tackling subjects no one else is willing to write about, I have opted to turn my critical pen (er.. word processor...) to the subject of pirates. Not those fancy and somewhat glam Johnny Depps out there, or the classically handsome Orlando Blooms. Hell, I'm reasonably certain these pirates aren't even in Keira Knightly's level of competence.

No, I refer to the Somali pirates.

Now I want to say categorically that I disagreed with Rush Limbaugh earlier today when he wasted a huge amount of his show on how the recent incident was cause to be upset with president hussein. All sardonic witticisms aside, hussein's biggest sin was that he was so low-key about the incident. He did NOT step up to bat and try to make this his first international crisis.

But Rush, God love him, had it all worked out that this was a smile-for-the-cameras moment for our president, even criticizing him for making the executive decision to shoot to kill in the event it became necessary.

Which is, of course, the President's job.

So this isn't about Depp, it's not about hussein, nor is it about Rush.

It's about the pirates. And their business model.

At the moment I'm not even certain who said it first that the pirates had a very successful business model. Whoever it was was correct. The pirates have had a pretty plush time taking ships and their crews hostage and, with very few exceptions, releasing them after a tidy sum has been paid. From the standpoint of the Somalis this probably was their way of showing how nice they were... you know... not killing prisoners they took.

Then we Americans had to go and resist. That just pisses the rest of the world off. We have the belief that we should be able to travel through international waters unmolested by swarthy puffy-shirted types brandishing cutlasses and AK-47s. Why it's downright indecent of us to think that we're anything special. We should just keep our yaps shut and be nice little hostages.

Remember how that worked for the first few planes involved in 9/11? By the time the last plane was on its' way to DC the passengers and crew had caught wind of what was happening, and instead of just shutting up and sitting quietly they gave their lives to save many more American lives.

This is where definitions of heroism come into play. Normal Americans caught up in abnormal circumstances... being given the option to either be meek and mild, or bold and courageous. And the funny thing is, when we know the score... when those passengers on flight 93 knew that they had an enemy who wasn't after ransom or bargaining, but had made a decision to end their lives, those people rose up against them and generated a new battle cry for the 21st century.

"Let's Roll...."

This was the spirit in which the brave men of the Maersk Alabama vowed to regain control of their ship and then to try to rescue their Captain, a man for whom loyalty was truly deserving. That same spirit was part of what our Navy and SEAL teams brought to the table to confront these thugs.

And you may wonder just how heroic it is to surround four men on a fuel-depleted lifeboat with a mini aircraft carrier and other vessels, but the pirates were the ones creating the situation.

They had opportunities from the get-go to walk away and free their hostage.

But when you decide to step on America you can pretty much expect this will be the price you pay.

I DO wish hussein had actually taken the opportunity to be more involved. Sincerely. Not to chastise or criticize, but to send a clear signal to the world that you tread on us at your peril.

But that's not his style. No righteous indignation... not sense of anger that Americans had been harassed in international waters, just a typically gutless threat of holding pirates accountable.

So while our military executed impressive and daring maneuvers for the sake of one of our own, all hussein could muster was a promise of firm government oversight.

I feel safer already.

If you are a student of media manipulation for larger political causes you will readily identify this as a basic primer on how to manipulate the masses prior to their knowing that they're even being manipulated.

This CNN.com news article tells the tale of an uncaring Japanese authority forcing the Japan-born daughter of two Filipino illegal aliens who are being banished back to the Philippines to choose between her family and her country.

It helps dramatically that president hussein is a staunch lover of Chinese governmental styles, speaking on more than one occasion of how much better they are than we here in the US of A. The Chinese have been socially and politically at odds with Japan for.. well... over a hundred years. So this is a win/win situation for him.

This is an article designed to make you look at the touchy/feely aspect of the sense of unfairness inherent in how an uncaring and US-friendly government is forcing this horrible situation on this young girl who is... sympathetically, dressed int he traditional Japanese school girl uniform as seen in anime a disproportionate amount of time.

This is NOT an article designed to present the facts in a fair, balanced measure. If that were the case more might have been made of the illegal alien status of the parents.

The theory is that if you read this article and feel that the Japanese are a harsh and brutal regime, uncaring for the feelings of this girl, that when you have to read similar stories of the US government behaving in this manner you will get upset and support the bid to make illegal aliens legitimate citizens.

You have not really read that that is the case, but then the issue is being prepared for you even now. There is a strong effort inside the White House to make the legalization of millions of illegal aliens a priority.

The rules of play are not fair, and they will attempt to make us feel bad. But we have to remember that at the heart of all of these sad-sack stories WE are not the guilty party. The guilty parties are the people who entered the US illegally. THEY are the ones forcing these difficult situations on their family members.

But then, in the end, will the truth really matter?

Still trying to find new reasons to think well of president hussein? I know, I feel your pain.. it's getting harder. And for you liberals and democrats who thought he was on your side, it's got to be particularly galling.

First off, it's really hard to paint a picture of hussein as anything other than a dictator. A Legitimate President of the United States, one who was legally able to take the pledge to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, would never have considered surrendering the legitimate and necessary sovereignty of our country to a non-existent coalition of largely European governments.

And yet that is exactly what he is doing by allowing other nations to have control like he has over the inner working of banking institutions. Read more about it HERE.

In a disturbing news article on CNN.com a young man is bemoaning having to pay a hefty price for an action which took less than two minutes to do.

Of course, the consequences to the young lady, a former girlfriend who has been the victim of nude photos sent to him in private being disseminated, will take years to work out. But that's not important.

What's important is that this kid doesn't feel he should be punished.

I recently went through something similar (albeit less nudity-based) where my son was concerned, and in some cases the offending kids and their families were agreeable that punishment... fair punishment... should be meted out, and in one case one kid and his family risked the kid having a felony offense on the records. They backed down at the last moment, but the idea that consequence was considered an inconvenience too heavy to bear was what enraged my wife and I.

I won't go into the issue of "sexting", which is frankly something I've not engaged in (I was, however, forced to leave a website once for posting a photo of myself naked wearing an apron and holding a KFC chicken leg and bucket... long story, but true...) so I'm not particularly qualified to go into.

On the other hand, the reason we have laws precluding young adults from drinking, drugging, driving while drinking, or even voting is because too many times they are insufficiently capable of using long-term consequence as a guidepost to their decision-making practices.

Seriously? Is this even something we need to be reminded of? Yes. Because after the illegal aliens are granted all the rights and privileges of Americans you can bet your bottom dollar (which will be the ONLY one you'll have left by that point...) that the left will start campaigning to lower the voting age to either 16, 14 or 3 depending upon how much they think they can get away with.

Joe Biden's fantasy life...

president hussein has been known to say some pretty stupid things... among them "I do" when asked if he would take Michelle to be his lawfully wedded wife... but there's just something so endearing about his VP, natural-born American Joe Biden, that when he speaks you just wanna listen... for the laugh track.

In this brand spanky-new CNN.com article the veep speaks in characteristically vague terms about such ideas as how Dick Cheney's "power" weakened America and how George W. Bush was not a leader.

Cheney's power, which we might infer from Joe, is some sort of mystical Power Rangers kind of thing... was that he was vice president. He is a gruff man and not prone to mincing words, but then he works with democrats sometimes, so that's not necessarily a bad trait. Beyond that, I believe, there was no mystical quality to the man, nor did he have Rasputin-esque tendrils of control over the Bush administration.

I suppose it might be argued that Bush was NOT a leader. Not in the traditional sense, anyhow, of a man who formed two multi-national coalitions against enemies who posed threats not only to America but to the rest of the world. Nor in the traditional sense of a man who would walk confidently into the seats of other nations' governments and look them in the eye and declare that he was an An American. You could also argue that he might not have been the kind of a leader who proceeded with what he knew in his heart was the right thing to do, even though touchy/feeley naysayers suggested otherwise, and then went ahead and did it. Hell, you might even be able to argue that he was certainly not the kind of leader who would tell you in advance what he planned to do, and then go ahead and keep his word.

But you'd be wrong.

Bush raised two coalitions of nations to help fight against the tyranny of Islamo-fascism by leading an invasion against the Afghan regime that protected and supported Osama Bin Laden (funny how I can write HIS name, but still can't really put the new guy's name with his job title yet...) and again to overthrow the brutal regime of Saddaam Hussein.

Bush visited many foreign countries and greeted many foreign leaders, and never once apologized for his country. He loves America with all his heart, and whether or not he made mis-steps he will be remembered as a true and loyal protector of America, who spoke often of how great a nation we are.

When he stood up to make his case for invasion of Iraq, a risky proposition as it was the first time in US history that we would initiate a war with another country, he told us in advance what he would do, and despite populist sentiment he went ahead and did it. His unswerving belief that S. Hussein was a threat and his moral core guided him to defy the protesters.

Joe's fantasy life is very interesting. He repeatedly states that he is not worried about the events going on around him in the world. He points out how other countries are expected to make the big decisions in the world (I was under the impression big government was the answer... guess I misunderstood his boss.....) and he has made the greatest case for why we should be confident in the stimulus package... that we won't see any benefit from the $780,000,000,000.00 stimulant package anytime soon.

Feel like buying a used car from this guy?

But my favorite part... the one that really sparked this particular rant, is where he asserts early on in the piece that the rest of the world is following our lead now, thanks entirely to this administration.

Now this may surprise you, but he's right. and I'm gonna prove it.

His boss, president hussein, has gone overseas and apologized for us, making a laughing stock of America in front of those countries, many of whom we pulled out of the frying pan just a few decades ago..., and now, with hussein as their bandleader the rest of the world is laughing at us.

Some leadership. I'd sooner follow Dan Quayle.

It's okay-ish to have a man of mystery going around the world telling them to laugh at us and not be put off by our bad breath or whatever... we expect that from hussein. But Joe Biden was born in this country and grew up here, presumably with two American parents. What the hell does HE have to hate America for?

Joe's fantasy life, by the way, could use some spicing up. Maybe he could talk about that hot date he's always wanted to have with Dem hottie Madeleine Albright.... hey.. it's just fantasies, y'know?

Party Politics the American way!

I've been giving some thought to whether or not I wanted to participate in the upcoming Tea Parties happening all around the country. Apart from not being a big fan of Earl Grey or Chamomile, I have to admit that I have some trepidations.

Will there be any significance from my joining other unhappy Tax Payers to stand outside City Hall and wave a placard at them?

Will my voice add to a growing chorus of frustration at the unbridled excesses of president hussein and his cadre of thugs?

In the end, will my participation have made ANY difference whatsoever?

The answer to these questions is, of course, YES.

I still seethe with disgust whenever I meet a fellow American who felt that he shouldn't vote because his voice wouldn't amount to anything. If enough of those Americans got together think of THAT collective vote. hussein did NOT win by a landslide victory, even though the media were calling some states in his favor with less than 6% of the vote in (thanks alot, Fox News!!!).

I am a working American. I work for Chinese-born Canadian citizens and I run U.S. operations out of a 40,000 square foot warehouse. I get by on what most would consider a modest salary for my job title, but I don't complain about the pay and I truly believe in the work I do, even if it is historically uninteresting.

I will have to make some careful plans to be at the tea party while still meeting the real and valuable duties to my employer. But I believe the effort is worthwhile.

As much as I like to feel I've been a good Conservative I really haven't. Apart from some ranting on the interweb, I have done NOTHING to impact on the election process. I couldn't imagine a society so abjectly asinine that would willingly elect a man who never once said how much he loves America.

See where THAT got me?

So, yes, I will go to the tea party, and Yes, I will carry a sign, and Yes, I will be outspoken. It gets me out from behind my keyboard where there is an admitted safety factor of relative anonymity (although as my full name is on display THAT anonymous-factor is kind of mitigated...) and it helps me to feel less alone.

This creeping sense of loneliness is one of our greatest adversaries. People over-think when they are alone... they extrapolate without all the facts, and they make assumptions which are usually wrong when they are alone. For this first visual footprint in the war against Socialism to have an impact, we must all meet and face one another, look into another human's eyes, and recognize that there is a light inside some of us which recalls what our fathers fought and died for, and calls us to answer in our own way the same fight, but with the next enemy willing to put themselves in harm's way.

This is not a new fight, we are not the first Americans to stand up for these values, and this is hardly the first enemy we have ever faced.

What IS new is the ferocity of the attacks, the lack of outrage where it should be, and the willing and servile complicitness of our media, who have much to answer for.

BUT, there is one greater reason... the one which cemented my desire to join the Tea Party.

ACORN.

Yeah, according to Michelle Malkin's page, ACORN has begun to sit up and take notice of the Tea Parties. They are infiltrating them and smearing them. Remember the McCain/Palin rally where it was claimed that someone advocated killing hussein? The charge was false, but the accusation stuck.

As ACORN has taken an interest, the message must be something of a threat to their overlord president hussein.

The wise man fights for the lost cause, and just now the lost cause is definitely ours.... we have a huge hill to mount and there will be hell to pay, but should we succeed we will not be the only ones to win... all Americans will be the winners.

This is one of the many thousand reasons why this is important... we aren't doing this for ourselves. There is no personal glory. We are soldiers, and the call to duty has arrived. It is time for us to step out from the shadows and be counted as one.

It's really amazingly funny when you think about it, that no one seems to truly grasp what $1,000,000,000,000.00 actually is. That's $1 Trillion... or something along the lines of a partial of how much president hussein has given away.

And then THIS ARTICLE showed up and it sort of added some gravitas to the number.

It's not a political statement in and of itself, but that's where the beauty of this comes in... it took NASA and the Chandra X-Ray Observatory to see far enough to do something that could let you know what $1,000,000,000,000.00 could mean in hard numbers.

Scientifically one lightyear, or how far light travels in a 365 day period, is a measure of distance. Politically one lightyear is how far our own money has gotten away from us.

Campaign-era promises....

During the past week there has been a lot of reflection by bloggers who have felt the pressure to keep up with the many (and I mean MANY...) unexpected and volatile changes in our country.

Even bearing in mind that democrats control the House and the Senate and rule the White House with a subtly not seen since George Orwell's "Animal Farm", sometimes uncomfortable bits of information slip out.

In a Reuters news piece over at Yahoo!news, the Congressional Budget Office has revised the exisitng wastage from the White House for JUST the bailouts up from $189,000,000,000.00 to the paltry and barely noticable price tag of $356,000,000,000.00.

With a recent estimate of the US population at 303,500,000 (which doesn't differentiate between active taxpayers and children, unemployed, welfare, or the elderly... it's hard to really guess how much the burden for rescuing these companies is going to be for the average taxpayer.

Now to be fair the CBO isn't taking in the whole picture. They're JUST looking at moneis given to AIG, the Auto Industries, and whoever else hussein wants to take over and run ruthlessly. With a national debt that threatens to vastly exceed our GDP in the coming few years the cost to Americans is likely to run somewhere along the lines of selling off everything we own.

It's a good time to buy stock in eBay, I think.

So, does anyone even recall one word from either candidate about how they would bankrupt America for the next few generations? I think I missed that particular town hall meeting. Mayhap Rush was sleeping when hussein told us in his much-vaunted transparency that he was going to sell away our future and God help[ us if we should ned some of that money for unexpected things, because there just won't be any.

Oh wait... now I remember... it's the part where hussein said something about breaking from our addiction to foreign aid and finding a replacement for money which will be cleaner, cheaper, and more plentiful.

Or something like that.

Taking sides on the issue of Neutrality...

Net Neutrality, a variant of the Fairness Doctrine, is hussein's attempt to further control the interweb by making sure that ALL viewpoints have a say, and therefore any opposing viewpoints to all those other viewpoints will be labeled unfair and be removed.

Andrew Klaven at pajamastv has an interesting, albeit blunt piece about it in this OpEd video.

I promise that so long as I have fingers to tap out words with and socialist Anti-Americans sit in the White House I will keep on using one against the other. And you know what, it IS fair, because I don't have several trillion dollars to push my agenda (I used to but I can't remember where I left it... which, I think... is what we're all going to be saying in just another couple of months...).

Why we need to just give him more time...

Okay folks, this one took me a few days to assemble because every time I walked away from MS Word I thought of something else to add. The sick thing is you can probably find a bunch of other things I either didn't know or just plain forgot about.

But here, in no particular order and in some cases with not as much specificity as if I were doing a one-off piece on the particular subject, is a list of egregious behavior on the part of president hussein and his cabinet. It's a long list, but since January 20th we've been witness to a huge number of surprises.

A CATALOGUE OF STUPIDITY
The presidency of Barack Hussein Obama

1) Getting elected – hussein takes office illegally as he has failed to supply adequate proof of US Citizenship. His sole proof consists of a Birth Certificate issued by the State of Hawaii that Hawaii itself does not consider a legal proof of Birth, but rather an acceptance that he exists. The legitimate Birth Certificates of the time show the date, the name of the hospital, the name of the Doctor that performed the delivery, and other useful info. His certificate is legal, but does not prove birth in the US.

Additional to this, his father was a dual citizen of the UK and Kenya, and his mother was 19, and did not live in the US long enough to sufficiently confer US citizenship on her son under those circumstances.

2) Inaugural speech by yet another pastor associated with hussein – In truly magnificent manner this uniter of peoples, this savior to the masses, is welcomed into the presidency by a pastor who openly invokes racial statements designed to show that whitey has been keeping them down all these years and now whitey has to try real hard to “….get it right”.

3) Cabinet choices – Setting about to make this government truly his hussein sends out a huge form which ensures that, among other things, no applicants will get through who can embarrass the president. Apparently the form does not have any provisions for tax evasion, because that is the greatest common denominator among his appointees. The most galling of course being the man who is charged with ridding the country of trillions of excess and wasteful cash we happened to not have lying around, Tim Gaitner.

4) His first official interview as president – It’s fitting for a man who never said how great America is yet still got elected, that he would think that his first interview with the press should be with Al Jazeera in the Middle East.

5) Dissing Bush – After stating categorically for months building up to his ascendancy to the presidency, that America has only one president at a time, therefore avoiding any having to actually answer questions directed at him (which, it seems, we will later find out he doesn’t like….), as soon as he is in the oval office he begins to review and roll back many major laws of George’s. This is kind of an expected move, however he made sure everyone knew how horrible these things were because they were the kind of laws that were created with a moral core, such as fetal stem cell research limitations and anti-abortion rules.

6) Abortion – speaking of everyone’s favorite subject, hussein, a long-time proponent of making abortions as grisly as possible (voting three times in Chicago to allow late-term abortions and to prevent any life support to be given to any late-term abortion baby that should somehow survive the attempt….) pressed through a law forcing hospitals to perform abortions even if they have a moral objection (for instance, Catholic hospitals who MIGHT see some reason to object…) or risk having their license to be a hospital revoked.

7) Making peaceful overtures to Iran – as is customary hussein used a recent Middle-eastern holiday to send a video message to the people of Iran telling them that if they can just persuade their leaders to loosen up a bit he would graciously allow them to become citizens of the world. The Iranian president was amused and said he didn’t care.

8) Making peaceful overtures to the Taliban – sending Secretary of State and feared social watchdog Hillary Clinton to the middle east, hussein passed along this message to the Taliban – Renounce your violent ways and Al Qaeda and we will let you return to your homes and be free. The most common word is the reply submitted by Mullah Omar’s spokesman was “Lunatic”. The rest of the words were not THAT encouraging either.

9) Making peaceful overtures to the Mexican Drug Cartels – Enjoying being humiliated, Hillary also sent a message to the Drug Cartels who have engaged in a horrific campaign of violence just south of our border. She made it quite clear that America was apologizing for over 3,000 deaths and disappearances to the industry so in-control of the situation that they have people whose job it is to mix up acids as a cocktail to melt their victims down so they can never be found. Apparently it is our appetite for drugs that is making them kill so viciously.

10) Not specifically a hussein-related item, but on a similar vein a Harvard professor shows the world just how asinine costly tuitions can be by advocating in a very well-distributed essay how we could stop this circle of Mexican violence and even profit from it by legalizing all these terrible drugs. Of course he doesn’t explain how this can be equated with the campaign to eliminate cigarettes from the world, but that’s just nit-picking.

11) Setting the timetable in Iraq – Taking credit for Bush’s successes in Iraq, hussein went ahead and ignored EVERYONE’s advice and told the enemies of a free and democratic Iraq how long they could vacation and recharge their batteries before finishing the job they started. And WHEN did he pick to have all the US troops out of Iraq? Why the convenient year of 2011… just in case there was a snowballs’ chance in hell of him getting re-elected.

12) The American Re-investment and Recovery Act – or as many Americans call it, “Deep Throat” – the king of transparency ram-rodded this down our throats so fast that two months later we are still struggling to understand what the provisions are. hussein’s insistence that there is not a minute to lose allowed him to pass many invasive and legally unnecessary laws, all the while proclaiming that this is not wasteful. After all, how could ANY $780,000,000,000.00 spending bill be considered wasteful?

13) Our take home pay – provisional to ARRA (see #12, above…) the president announced that he was changing the tax laws and effective April 1st Americans would see up to $13.00 more in their paychecks. If you did what I did, which wass to confirm my suspicions by calling the IRS who were none to happy to have to answer this question, admitting that it was something even THEY were unsure of, they eventually relented and told me that “YES”, it is NOT a change in the tax laws. It is a change in the WITHHOLDING laws. The lie is still being repeated around the country. I remember George H.W. Bush pulling this one in the early 1990s and was no more happy with HIM, and I liked that guy.

14) The first step toward socialized medicine – also provisional to ARRA, it was signed into law that all medical procedures would require significant proof of identification (even more so it seems than is required for proof of constitutional right to the presidency…) which would then be admitted into a national database so that the government can computerize and nationalize the health care system. The repercussions of this are chilling, especially as this back-door approach means he doesn’t have to OFFICIALLY socialize medical coverage, just the things that medical coverage would handle.

15) Hussein’s triple-punch insult via media – In a week of wackiness hussein had a media blitzed which included appearing on Leno (which in itself has historically been considered beneath the office of the presidency…) and comparing his bowling skills to those of the Special Olympics. Children, a hated and despised resource per hussein’s voting record… should be easily able to out-bowl him, especially if they are physically or developmentally handicapped. They were ELATED to hear that one.

This was followed by his taped appearance on the venerable left-wing propaganda machine “60 Minutes” wherein hussein laughed so sardonically about the prospect of an America in horrible financial straits that even his interviewer had to ask if he was punch-drunk. Other follow-up questions that most Americans were asking included the words “insane?”, “psychologically bankrupt?”, “morally bereft?” and so forth.

Finally, refusing to let himself be outdone by only having two major gaffes on national television in a week, hussein was asked by CNN correspondent during a recent Q & A on one of his interminable addresses to the nation… the one where he wanted to sell America on his plan to buy up toxic bank assets… about his having waited for a few weeks prior to feigning outrage over AIG bonuses… Want to see real outrage? Watch that segment again… a cold, icy stare and a long pause before hussein grumpily acknowledged that he did indeed know, but wanted to “know what he was talking about before speaking”. America welcomes this new shift in policy and can’t wait for it to be implemented. Ed Henry, for his part, was so mortified by this event he wrote an apology to the president in the form of an essay explaining how he had accidentally performed his duties… promising to never make THAT mistake again.

16) AIG Bonuses – While we’re on the subject, hussein and his dem cronies pretended to be morally outraged over the idea that several AIG execs were stealing our money and using them to be highly paid for doing a bad job. This argument struck a chord with Hallmark who turned it into a new national holiday where apart from buying greeting cards with death threats to those execs the main way to celebrate is grab a torch or a pitchfork and form a necktie party to string ‘em up.

And yes, you read that right… a sitting US president used his office to incite americans to target and threaten other Americans over that most harmful of reasons, class-envy.

Of course the fact that AIG exec bonuses were fully laid out to the Government prior to any bailout and no law was being broken were immaterial. The idea that these bonuses were on average about 1/56,000th of the entire bailout that AIG received was immaterial as well.

17) hussein regrets his mob not killing the execs – In a recent letter to the NY Times, one of the many AIG execs resigned from AIG and explained that he had been asked to work six day work weeks 12 – 14 hours a day dismantling the company he had helped to build (in a division that had never ceased to be profitable until the government took it over…) for a company who had bankrupted him by destroying his stock portfolio, which was heavily AIG-based… and all for the princely salary of $1.00 for a year. The $750,000.00 retention bonus he was to be paid was his compensation AFTER working for a year for $1.00.

This was apparently deemed not important information for hussein to include as he rallied americans to go after these people.

18) America’s funniest home president – After receiving thoughtful and historically significant gifts from the British PM, hussein felt compelled to come up with something suitable to return the favor, but you know how it is when you're busy, it’s hard to shop for presents last-minute. That would be why he gave the PM a 25 movie gift set of classic American movies. To make matters worse, when the PM was feeling all super-special and everything after he got back home to merry old England he popped a DVD into his DVD-player… which as many of us know, in England is Region 2, and would not play a region 1 DVD.

19) America’s funniest home president PT 2 – Hosting the Irish PM (or whatever his job title is…) at a state gathering, hussein read from his ever-present teleprompters about his visit to America and then thanked himself for inviting himself to the party.

20) America’s funniest home president PT 3 – This one’s great because it’s a one-two punch with de-clawed america-hater michelle hussein… while in Europe for the G20 summit for a round of apologizing, hussein stopped by to see the Queen of England and present HER with a gift that magically would play in their country… a video iPod… just what every 70 year old woman yearns for. And just to make sure that it stays in mint-never-been-used condition he loaded it down with video and pictures of himself.

Not to be outdone, michelle hussein, upon meeting Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the 2nd, ran up to her and wrapped her arms around the queen and kissed her. Flummoxed and oddly NOT turned on by this inappropriate public display of affection, the Queen decided that to save face she would say that this was “refreshing” and “charming”. Even in the face of rampant and hopeless cluelessness those Brits have it all over us for classy responses. Or maybe it’s just their accents, I Don’t know and get confused.

21) Playing “Miss Manners” for the Republican party – in a move widely seen as predatory and designed to foment rebellion within party ranks, hussein’s cabinet wasted no time in identifying Rush Limbaugh as the defacto head of the Republican party. A feat of some impressiveness as Rush is NOT running for any office. But facts are never a deterrent to hussein. So for a brief time americans entertained themselves by debating Rush Limbaugh… all the while missing important legal actions that hussein was making.

22) Fall-out from AIG – making certain that america never has to fear another institution would bring the economic world to it’s knees again, hussein eased up on the harsh, unparalleled threats of legal actions and directed excessive taxation targeted at political enemies (or victims, if you will….) of up to 90% tax rates. He instead enacted a law that allowed him to seize control of ANY BANK whether or not they had received financial assistance form the government, and run it as his own. This was seen as an act of generosity toward the AIG execs who, it seems, might not have actually committed a crime worthy of what hussein did to them in the first place.

23) Proof that the ARRA has done its job – despite a worsening economic outlook, increasingly high unemployment figures, and general gloom and doom, hussein proudly touted the hiring of 25 police officers in Ohio as proof that $780,000,000,000.00 was money well-spent.

24) Filed under the “I’m not so sure they even KNOW how to count” category, hussein has another provision in ARRA which gives $4,000,000,000.00 to suspiciously partisan non-partisan group ACORN, with whom he has had previous dealings, so that they could participate in the 2010 census.. which was never part of their jurisdiction before hand. I for one have complete confidence in the organization that registered 105% of one town’s population to vote in the last presidential election, and has had Federal lawsuits placed against them in every election they have been involved in for the past several years.

25) WHY is ACORN needed? Why to include illegal aliens in the census, of course, silly? How else are you going to make all those people who entered the country illegally and stolen jobs away from Americans while thumbing their noses at the ones who came here legally and learned to appreciate America for what it is, citizens if you don’t even start with the basics, like counting them and then putting them on welfare?

26) I think this one’s my favorite – According to a Russia Today News broadcast, hussein is secretly crafting a law which will allow him to infiltrate any American’s computer on suspicion of copyright infringement. Even though it’s not one of the mandates he was elected to do, he wants that level of control. Good thing there’s NOTHING suspicious in his background that might make you think he would do anything immoral with power like THAT.

In case you think I’m being alarmist, remember Joe The Plumber? Right after he embarrassed hussein last summer by asking him why he wanted to tax him away from starting up his own business, the democrats used Ohio State computers to investigate Joe to dig up dirt on him. Given that, it’s only a tiny leap of logic to think that any government that is willing to enter our home computers is also willing to PLANT EVIDENCE there so that they can be arrested on things like child-porn.

27) The Auto Industry – Imposing tremendous restrictions on the auto industry to solve their problems while ignoring the one area that might actually help – excising the auto unions… hussein has given the US car companies 60 days to show that they can kill their own companies or he will do it for them. While he has been adamant that he has no desire to run a car company, he was less than perturbed to have the GM CEO replaced. Funny, but the last time I was fired it was by my employer.

28) No Nukes! – once again with the touchy/feely approach to government that warms our hearts with outrage, president hussein is wandering around Europe touting a desire to eliminate all nuclear warheads form the planet. Apparently he never made it to the end of Superman IV.

His approach to have every country in the world, including N. Korea and Russia, Iran and Pakistan, and even people he HATES like Israel all dismantle their weapons at the same time.

It has to be an all-or-nothing deal or it just won’t happen.

This from the same guy who sputtered about how N. Korea wouldn’t play by the rules.

North Korea Splashes and hussein sputters...

In what is really more of a whimsical side-note to events, North Korea's missile test apparently failed and splashed into the ocean, although it may turn out that that is just US propaganda. Time will be the deciding factor.

What's really interesting in this Associated Press news story is president hussein's response.

Anyone who has been only vaguely paying attention knows that North Korea breaks the rules. It's a little like accusing Britney Spears of abnormal behavior... it is just part of the landscape.

North Korea, long isolated from most of the rest of the world, is a crumbling oligarchy of despotism that has committed outrageous acts over the years, any number of which might have sparked a war. It is, however, their massive war-machine, fueled in part by the Russians, that prevents anyone else, the US included, from seeking to engage them in direct conflict.

The economic harshness of the regime has forced Kim Jong Il to step out of the shadows and open multi-lateral negotiations with the rest of the Asian powers and the United States. President Bush wisely refused to have direct one-on-one negotiations because it would raise suspicions which would drive us further apart from our allies. Additionally, it would deny Kim Jong Il the one thing he craves most... legitimacy.

By negotiating directly with the US Kim Jong Il would then be seen to be a superpower.

So his occasional saber-rattling is an attempt to draw attention and hopefully keep the rest of the world off-guard. Such actions usually go along with children in their "terrible twos" and not heads of state, but ass I said, it is part of the North Korean landscape to act this way.

Let me break it down to its simplest terms: N. Korea NEVER plays by the rules.

So what does hussein have to threaten his Asian alter-ego? Well, not much really. You see, he already diluted any impact he might have had by making open negotiations with america less desirable (go ask Iran, the Taliban or the Mexican Drug Cartels if you don't believe me...) so Jong Il isn't risking losing anything on that score. Further, the US is not likely to commit to warfare with N. Korea especially since we're almost as broke as they are, but with a significantly more spread out military.

Also, it would hardly make the US look like the country that forthrightly and without even being asked to is ready to apologize for being such jerks, so that will severely hamper husseins' response options.

So he does what he does best... he sputters about how N. Korea broke the rules.

Hey, more than half of america voted for Mr. Touchy/Feely. You wanted change? You got it.

Anyone here remember how Bush, working with six other nations, convinced the N. Koreans to dismantle their nuclear processing facilities, even inviting CNN over to N. Korea to videotape the demolition of one of their major production sites?

Here is a story that's been floating around for a little while.

The few surviving members of the Manson family, all incarcerated, are longing for freedom. And CNN wants to tug at your heart-strings for them.

Manson is a poor candidate for early release, even going so far as to recommend against it himself. But others who are starting to have health issues are hoping they can die at home, in bed, surrounded by their loved ones.

The problem is, they were asked to allow that for some other people back in the late 1960s, and they refused.

If, by now, you might have forgotten who actress Sharon Tate was, aside from the bride of now-defamed filmmaker Roman Polansky, she was a beautiful, talented young actress who was just starting to reach some real screen stardom. Her two most visible parts insofar as I am aware are in Polansky's "The Fearless Vampire Killers" which was among other things a showcase of her tremendous physical beauty, and one of the Dean Martin "Matt Helm" spy pictures, in which she played one of the many serviceable female sidekicks his character would go on adventures with.

Sharon rose to instant and lasting fame however when Manson and his "family" entered a Hollywood house and gruesomely terrorized then executed everyone there, including a teen aged boy who was visiting with his family, and Sharon, who, while being held down by one of the women in the "family" begged to have them spare her unborn baby's life.

No mercy was given.

Now it is four decades later and they want mercy.

In a society that is rotting from the neck up, that has started to consider that we can't win a fight against drugs so we should join the drug dealers, in a society where civil rights are being shown Manson "Family" level mercy, we now have to consider having these people let back into society.

Only under president hussein would this even be considered.

The argument that the family have all been model prisoners (for a while, according to a moment burned into my memory from one of the very few instances of watching CourtTV, even Charles Manson was a good prisoner, working with the prison doctor to administer injections to the patients.... no... really. I mean it... that's God's Honest Truth. They gave Charles Manson needles and told him to jab other prisoners.... yeeesh!).

I'm old-fashioned and , well, let's face it... I have a moral code. It's kind of endemic to my nature that I believe the punishment should fit the crime. These monsters would all have been executed years ago had the state of California not done it's touchy/feely part to give criminals the high life.

No amnesty, no early release, no parole, no mercy. Not unless they can restore to us that which they have taken from us.

Here is where you will find one of the most insidious stories of the year....

I held off a few days after seeing a video post on JustJenn's page

It was a really compelling piece and frankly I wanted her to run with it for a while without my horning in and also I wanted to pull an Obama and know what I was talking about before I spoke. So while I was suitably outraged at the time, I chose now to say something.

But still, thanks to JustJenn for finding this chiller.

The clip from "Russia Today", and located on YouTube is a report on how the hussein camp is secretly crafting legislation that will give them access to pretty much anybody's laptop, PC or other internet-enabled device with or without their consent and with or without a legitimate cause to be there.

Setting aside the aspect that the RIAA hasn't been bleating too loudly of late as to how the government should protect them from copyright infringement, this is as chilling and Big-Brother as you are likely to see hussein get, short of jack-booted Nazis patrolling our streets.

Under the guise of protecting Americans from cyber attacks, president hussein will suddenly and apparently without any challenge have the ability to peer into what we consider to be our own private domains.

Imagine someone who writes essays about mistakes the president of the socialist states of america makes. Now imagine their rights being violated as a cyber-goon squad starts digging into his or her personal files on their computers without their knowledge or consent. Did you happen to download a song illegally? Prosecute that scofflaw! Did you right-clock on a copyrighted image you wanted to make a desktop picture? Throw the bastard in jail?

Or far more disparaging, what if you had nothing to hide other than your opinion? What if you were the perfect law-abiding citizen and never pirated software or songs or movies or shows or anything, and only used your laptop for spreading the truth as linked to various news articles to back that up?

Now imagine that cyber-goon squad feeling angry and hurt at how perfect you are. Wait a minute... they can always upload child-pornography to your computer and then have the cps burst in on you in the middle of the night and take you away.

But don't we trust our president? Let's ask his Treasury Secretary, Tim "Tax Evasion" Gaitner.
Let's ask Jake DiSantis who broke no laws and did his job to help dismantle AIG and had the president let loose with an angry mod to threaten and cajole him, and further to have the full weight of the government in mob fashion threaten him with 90% tax burden on fair wages. Not convinced? Ask Sarah Palin who answered a call from hussein's lapdog McCain to run for VP, and had her reputation trounced and her family dragged through the mud. Still not satisfied? What about Joe The Plumber who had his personal information investigated using Ohio State computers, by the Democrat party following his deigning to ask a real question of the president.

Ed Henry will tell you that's a no-no!

This one's the real deal people. Give hussein this kind of authority and you will see the jail cells start to overflow with political prisoners.

In the liberal tradition of demonizing things that work and finding ways to make them not work we have watched as president hussein has targeted major financial support pillars in the economy and teased them with bailouts only to turn on them like a snarling Rhakshasa (now THERE'S an obscure reference.... although if you understand you'll realize just how fitting it is...). Look at the track record: He bails out the automakers and then when they don't turn around n a few months he condescendingly assumes control and starts huckstering cars and forcing un-natural marriages between incompatible auto-manufactures. Seriously, doesn't anyone else see the lack of logic in tying Fiat and Chrysler together in unholy matrimony?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but European cars work on largely wholesale different specs from Domestic cars. Their bastard children will undoubtedly be the sort of thing Ed Begley Jr. could toot around in comfortably and smugly as he laughs at the rest of the world.

And consider AIG, who, as Maurice Greenberg, former CEO, points out, was an operation doing just fine thank you very much until the Government came in and started doing what the government does best... muck things up.

Of course, that's why the government did it... because then they could demonize him and his successful business venture, and steal their hard-earned work.

Understand that in that last statement is the core of what is really happening. The liberals and democrats have never produced anything of value... They simply are incapable of producing things... oh sure, one might well argue that we enjoy a better quality peanut today than we might have had Jimmy Carter not been president, but the harsh reality is that America paid a hefty price for that jerk's incompetence... or am I the only one who remembers that hollow feeling during a cold, rainy morning in April 1979... when America's military became the laughingstock of the rest of the world.

So no, the liberals and the democrats don't produce anything, they simply steal it. Have a healthy cornerstone of the economic world? They'll ruin you for it. Don't believe me? Ask the wealthiest businesses in the country, the Oil companies. They got lambasted by congress last year for... for... some days it's just too hard to say this... for just doing their jobs.

Y'see, I'm old school. I was taught a valuable lesson from my father many years ago... profit is not a dirty word. I've learned that most of us want to be very profitable. And then recently I've learned that some of us are so swelled up with greed and envy and anger and rage and frustration because they haven't made as much money as people who actually produce a valuable commodity that they will do anything... ANYTHING to destroy them.

Read the link to this news piece and hoist a skull and crossbones on your PC and get your fingers tapping. Today they are just small tap tap taps... but soon enough of us will become so angry we will go out into the streets and we will form our own ACORN... and we will begin to fight shelled nuts with shelled nuts.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE HUSSEIN KIND...

I'm trying to spend a week de-stressing and being less "focused" on my anger over the loss of civil liberties being chucked down our throats by the caring and charismatic new president. I've found myself becoming a bit obsessive and combative on the subject. I think a lot of us are in one way or another suffering from a little bit of fatigue just now.

At about 75 days the new presidency is moving at break-neck speed to curtail human rights in favor of big government. The hussein policy of socio-economic logic apparently only works on a sub-atomic level where reality as we know it no longer functions. It started with the cure for way too much spending, which was of course to spend significantly more. But not after he had his first press interview... with a middle eastern media outlet.

I don't necessarily treat a hangover by downing a quart of vodka... but then I'm not a Chicago thug, so what do I know?

The civil liberties of most Americans were thrown out when the transfer of wealth began with the economic stimulus package in which hussein laughingly replied to criticism that the bill amounted to nothing so much as a massive spending plan, by agreeing with them. That stimulus package was ramrodded into existence so fast that no one had time to see the fine print, of which there was a lot.

Then AIG came along again, and the president used calculated timing and indignation to whip the foolish idiots in america up to form a torch-bearing mob. Yes... americans were threatening Americans at the behest of the president.

hussein gave a presidential gift of a 25 movie DVD pack in region one coding to the Prime Minister of America's greatest friend, the UK. He followed THAT up with presenting the Queen of England a video iPod.

He made fun of Special Olympics athletes, laughed sardonically about the fate of our nation's economy on national television, and reached into almost every working American's paycheck to adjust, without their consent, the amount of taxes that are payed now, so that at the end of the year you will OWE when you think you have actually been given a break.

Fellow blogger JustJenn just posted a phenomenal couple of videos, one of which is a chilling news report on the latest threat to personal freedom. hussein is trying to pass a law rather secretively that allows the government to enter people's PCs remotely.

This is being done in the guise of the government getting involved in copyright infringement, however the enormous breach of the Constitutional Amendments has no legitimate legal justification.

So we are for the moment experiencing a bit of fatigue, fear of all the change, and a sense of loneliness. In the span of 75 days we are in a whole new universe and there seems to be no way out. No other country to retreat to. No safe haven from this despot.

And yet you try talking to people in the streets and do you know what you will hear from his supporters all over the place? The same response... it's actually almost programmed into the man... "You should just give him some more time."

Y'know, it's funny.I don't ever recall those idiots saying we they should just give Bush more time.

I'm refusing to fall into the following traps:

1) Fear - That is their goal and to give in to it means to risk losing more freedoms and to deny our heritage and our rights as Citizens. America is great because of our basic understanding that you FIGHT for what is right.

2) Lethargy - The temptation to say it is an unwinnable fight and I only have one small voice against a sea of detractors. Understand that there wouldn't be a sea of detractors if our lone voices together weren't being heard.

3) Obsession - I found myself becoming easily angered and even yelling at friends in the past week or two, prompting me to have a heart-to-heart with my wife. She does not want me to sacrifice what I believe in, and apart from our basic disagreement over whether or not Rush is a kook (I find he's almost always correct, so it's not ME saying that one...) and her hope that I don't hatch an insidious plan to harm anyone in power... a reasonable enough request... she wants me to keep up the fight. But to remember that I am not supposed to be fighting with my friends.

Reagan won battles by being upbeat, not by being pessimistic. Let us follow his example.

4) Acquiescing to others - There are more stupid people in the country than you can imagine. They will try to make you admit that you WANT hussein to solve things. I just want him to go away and if possible to be tarred and feathered in the process. I may come across as a right-wing kook to these people, but to be real honest I made it this far in life without their help, so I'm not gonna change that now.
